Surely if Ashley can't sell quickly, he's got to appoint a decent manager to at least protect his investment? I mean, from his perspective there's really no point to appoint someone if there's a real possibility of getting a deal done promptly, but if that's not going to happen it would be foolish, financially, let the club remain in this sad state of affairs.

It's all so much worse after having felt like things were picking up at the end of last season and there was some excitement at the beginning of this season. Then it all just implodes.

Well f*** off then if you think its pointless we dont need you ,there are a lot of very passionate and emotional fans atm trying to put over there thoughts and feelings at a time of massive upheavel at our beloved club . I didn't intend to discount anyone's passion or emotion. I just don't think arguing about who-struck-John questions to which we don't know the answers really helps any one.

Caretaker. Don't care who, so long as he doesn't piss off the supporters and knows the job's temporary. Buy some time to do a thorough search and sort through the sh*t that's hit the fan.

Am I the only one who thinks these debates are absolutely pointless right now, as we have no way of knowing what's gone on behind closed doors? Nobody likes the fact that KK is gone, nor the timing of his departure. Nobody thinks Ashley & co. have handled this situation well, regardless of how it came about. Nobody but the people actually involved know how it all came down.
