  1. Not unless you mean patatas bravas or deep fried camembert.
  2. Did you listen to the entire thing? He flip flops throughout. Towards the end of his piece about the takeover (about an hour in) he twice says the consortium are right to be confident due to the O&D being too vague to factor in the Saudi state and what that entails.
  3. I listened to the entire thing yesterday and he's neither here nor there. He sits comfortably on the fence so he's neither right or wrong when the decision is finally made. The comments aren't really out of context though, it's not as if they've been manipulated. He just ends most positive comments with a negative caveat and vice versa.
  4. Isn't that pretty much what's been said in this thread earlier though?
  5. It'll all be in public anyway, that one. You'll be able to watch it.
  6. I mean, I'm an hour in and he's still not overly negative at all. At the hour mark, he's asked how he think it will play out and he says 'we have a strong chance'. Twice actually, as the O&D test isn't robust enough.
  7. Still listening to the podcast, and Jacobs thinks the arbitration hearing will 99% be a private one.
  8. What an infinitely better podcast. I mean, I wouldn't listen to it( regularly), but it isn't a gaggle of cunts flogging tacky merch and talking utter shite.
  9. Yeah, I know for sure he has a source within the PL, so here's hoping.
  10. From 'Loaded Mag' podcast on Youtube.
  11. Calm down Oliver, you might have an aneurysm.
  12. Honestly, can't believe that I'm jealous Mac from Sunny isn't our owner.
  13. Don't you dare call someone out on the use of inverted commas.
  14. They're not mutually exclusive.
  15. Big 6 and corruption. External pressures from the darling children of the PL.
  16. Can they bin it on piracy grounds? I don't think they can.
  17. What part of the O&D test are they failing if they show them to be one of the same though?
  18. Yep, I've been very active in anti-Ashely campaigns in the past, so much so I was abused by a number of our supporters in a pub while organising and taking part in the 'Ashley Out' and 'Sack Pardew' protests. Newcastle United has weighed heavily on my already fragile mental health in the last decade. From health issues, bereavements and financial worries; being desperately unhappy about Newcastle United just doesn't warrant my time anymore. If we were just shit, I wouldn't care, I could deal with that. Not this. Not anymore.
  19. With the CAT case likely to rumble on for the rest of the year, within a fortnight we'll at least have some closure with the arbitration. If the arbitration doesn't go our way, I won't be actively supporting Newcastle United. I won't watch, read about, listen or talk about Newcastle United. I won't even keep up the CAT case. I'm sure I will hear about it we're taken over. So within a fortnight, I can either support my club again or give it up indefinitely. It's black and white, and a mental relief either way.
  20. He's taking the piss. There's no update. The deadline for them to respond has passed. Either they have, or haven't. We don't know yet.
  21. What's there to be positive about? Without a takeover, we're in a desperately negative situation.
