For me, Ronaldo is the greatest in my life time so far. Messi is awesome but their was just something more about Ronaldo. I would have loved to have seen the pre-injures Ronaldo in the prem or even just today to see how he would do because there has never been a more direct and lethal striker. Watching him just pick it up go on a run, little step over, Boom weaker left foot, drills it in the bottom corner. Unstoppable. This has got to be the biggest wind up ever right? i mean i could slightly understand if the comment meant that a player has seen him training and he looks a shadow of the one they trained with before the injury but then again how can you judge its still early days in his recovery and impossible to judge. I dont think Ramsey was pulling up any trees when he was on loan at Cardiff in his recovery from his leg break but then put a few impressive showings in towards the end of the season with arsenal. just turned it on and in about 5-10 mins of watching it beckham's already proved he would probably of been far more useful to united in the last few seasons compared to owen. despite being a fair bit older. Honestly could easily see him slotting into the team, if they can find room for old men scholes and giggs i think they could have carried beckham for this twilight years aswell.
