its a team set out to get a draw i do not see goals in that team but lets just hope. wish i could be there cheering them on but wont make a difference its down to the players.

if shearer has ditched martins for personal reasons then hes lookin like souness mk II haha hope not but even from the bench we need martins theres is no pace in that side today. hope ameobi has a blinder or summit!

had the same bald guy on who was out waving his arms around (with bottle of pop) when Shearer was appointed last week. that guy annoyed the hell out of me, u don't mind young kids doing that sort of thing but he looked a rite

i miss guthrie. he hasnt done much wrong this season and was excellent in that away win at portsmouth. if we can keep him fit and possibly get barton back playing in time for the crucial 6 pointers against the teams around us i will be far more confident

What have Boro done to make you think they'll stay up? i think he means that west brom and boro below us and then between us hull and makems for the drop which i agree cnt see the others struggling as much as us three

in open play tho hes useless. guthrie isnt to bad at corners and taylors havnt really produced anything. not enough to warrent how inneffective he is in open play.

has there been any explanation to why he was dropped yet? fair enuf if he had a knock but despite his lack of goals etc what he brings to the team with his running and the way he often has atleast two players guarding him especially at home it seemed crazy he was left out for the useless ryan taylor. especially for the whole 90! i mean im sure jonas wud give clichy a much harder time than Ryan (try and beat the quickest left back in the prem for pace. fail. fall over. then foul him as obviously as possible) Taylor.

actually thinking about it lee f*ckin cattermole has probably put one of the biggest nails in our coffin if we do go down because losing beye and barton cus of that prick has had a big impact i feel

sopose. but hopefully bassongs injury isnt too serious because beye is still alittle unknown in newcastle colours in that position but at right back we know he is quality and it will be good to have that back again. the little flash of him bombing up the wing with a quick one two was a sign of what we have missed. obviously colo tho is very shaky atm i would probably have more faith in taylor for the remaining big games despite his poor form earlier in the season. saying all this though we probably dnt have a choice as knowing our luck bassong and taylor will be out for the rest of the season
