  1. It's clear as day. Losing faith that Pardew won't see that though.

    Alan Pardew

I think he's officially lost me now. I'm just worried that there are no good available managers to replace him at the moment. We'll end up with a Mark Hughes.
  3. This is literally leaving me speechless. What the fuck is Pardew playing at?
  4. There are moments with Anita, Marvaeux and Cabaye when you can see what we could really be doing. Then there are moments where Jonas is just pointing where he wants the ball and not making the run.

    Papiss Cissé

Absolutely no service today. What a shame.
  6. Also I thought putting Cabs on for Obertan was a move that just showed how scared Pardew really is. Cabaye should've come on for one of the two defensive midfielders. Go for it man.
  7. Happy with the a point, I was just hopeful of a more spirited performance. It really seemed like the match was there for the taking and neither team really had the brass to try and seriously affect the outcome.
  8. Afraid you're right. About as good as we can do unfortunately.

Who are we going to replace him with that will be better? I'm honestly curious. MA doesn't have a good track record of appointing managers really.
  10. 7:30am kick-off here in Florida and not on a channel that I have.
  11. A woblemaster post I actually agree with. I never thought I'd see the day.

    Loïc Remy

Depends what you mean by that, goalscoring wise? don't necessarily agree in the main we need our new forward to help Cisse from the get go. If that means goals or by offering something different which gives Cisse more goalscoring opportunities. For example when Cisse scored all those goals, Ba was on a drought but he was helping Cisse in regards to off the ball movement etc etc if Remy( or anyone else) can provide similar then we should be good.

  14. Good thing I get to go to the hospital instead of watching this match then.
  15. Everyone's just reconciling it within themselves. At this point it seems pointless to fight the inevitable so everyone starts looking for the silver lining.

    Papiss Cissé

We shouldn't really be asking him to be too involved with build up play though. Nail on head.
  17. He has some really awesome touches on the ball. A really good first touch and at times very creative with his use of the ball. I love to see that kind of flair because it means the player has some confidence in himself which will usually go a long way.
  18. I was actually starting to get used to having a solid-if-not-spectacular backline that I didn't worry about every time the ball went near them like I used to in the mid-2000s when the likes of Bramble and Ramage were starting week-in/week-out. That's all out the window now though.
