Milner is a frustrating player to watch, fact. I am "conflicted" about his selling to Villa to say the least. I feel like, for him personally, moving to Villa was a great move and he will do well there, maybe even thrusting them into the upper echelon of the Prem but couldn't do the same job for us. Playing for us though, is a different story. At AV he will be under less pressure and allowed to play freely like we would've/could've never let him play - all the negativity about his speed and (supposedly) lack of crossing ability will be washed away at Villa where they appreciate him and like they are saying on their forum: he only has room to improve. That being said, 12m (although this is the only place I've seen it placed at 12m, every where placed it at 10m) is an extraordinary amount for Jimmy and we could not afford not to let him go at that price. We can splash that money elsewhere (and I am confident that we are or else we would've not let him go).

Agreed. SAF is a very hands off manager, focusing more on the backroom moving and shaking and CQ was the guy who ran the practices while Fergie would watch/tap up people/try to justify a Scholes tackle or handball. Obviously I'm taking the piss, but the part about SAF being hands off and CQ running training is true.

As someone who goes to St Louis often, I can honestly say that they would support the Rams, they are their team now. The US is fortunate (and unfortunate) because the whole league is so spread out that rarely would there be a situation where a Sunderland would just move into Newcastle and take over their stadium and stuff. People also don't tend to be as die hard of fans over things like baseball and american football (of course you could find them but the % is much lower) as in England over football teams.

Like a lot of others have said, I'd rather have Turan - he knows how to get stuck in for the team when the going gets tough. Also: Does this match constitute as Europe? As in, are you cup tied if you play in this match?

He would fit in great at a team like Liverpool, playing 120 minutes to pop up in the 119th minute and play the cross in to score the all important CL goal. It's a quality many top European/PL clubs would pay for. When everyone else has tired, Milner will be the one going strong and assist/score the all important goal.
