  1. Jesus Christ, get him off my screen. Haha, just said Cabayes obviously injured.
  2. Yes, not Barcelona. lol Because our odds away at Barca would only be 6/1  No, a bit higher obviously. So what's your point? It wasn't meant literally, but given the high odds you could think in the direction of a team like Barcelona.
  3. Newcastle United FC @NUFCOfficial #NUFC v #thfc (4-4-2): Krul; Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini ©, Santon; Obertan, Guthrie, Perch, Gutierrez; Ba, Cisse. #newcastle #epl

  5. It's ridiculous. Of course Tottenham are favorites because of home advantage and a better squad, but the odds on us is almost offensive.
  6. Krul Simpson - Will - Colo - Santon HBA - Guthrie - Perch - Jonas Cissé - Ba With that line up we can get a result here, which would really show how far we've come. And I realize saying that whilst naming Guthrie and Perch in the line up, is quite astonishing. I'm not a fan of Perch at all, but if he stays back and plays a no nonsense game just protecting our half, the players in front of him can create chances. At least enough to get us a goal. We will have to defend hard in this one though, no room for errors at the back. You don't say right. Ha ha. However I'm expecting Obertan to start, and maybe even Shola. Which would handicap our chances greatly. Still I'd take a 0-0 and a Colo one man show.
  7. Newcastle, Sunderland, Man Utd, Everton Alloa, Bayern, Dortmund, Celtic, Crawley, Genk, Man Utd, Montpellier, Barcelona, Sheff Utd Fucking Alloa and Sunderland letting me down on these.
  8. That would be absolutely criminal and perhaps one of the most stupid decisions football has ever seen. I try to tell myself surely this can't happen, but I can actually see it.
  9. Here's a true statement, Ryan Taylor gets a goal every 913 minutes and an assist every 456 minutes, Obertan has a goal every 1253 minutes and an assist every 418 minutes, Ben Arfa has a goal every 290 minutes and an assist every 193 minutes. All are in the league and not cup games. very good but not sure what that proves, i've seen every game HBA has played this season so know what he can do hence why i said i'd have him in my team. Efficiency. Or skills if you like.

  11. This will never happen if we keep our current squad, or at least the spine (which is likely should we finish in a Europe spot.) With the quality we have in our current best 11, there's no chance in hell we'll finish mid table. That would suggest teams like Sunderland, Aston Villa and Everton all finishing ahead of us. I realize our squad is a bit thin and vulnerable to injuries, but that can be adjusted come summer time, and I don't think players like Tiote, Colo or Krul will go, as they may look at a club like Liverpool (see Carroll, Enrique) and add two and two together. The only real threat is Man Utd, which is the only club in England I can see them go to, although I don't think it will happen. I'm not Pardew's biggest fan by no means. I'm furious with the whole Ben Arfa situation, but you can't deny the fact we're 5th with a shot at CL. However I realize we have to adjust our system to take it to the next level, and in that process include flair players and individualists in the team. Pardew refuses to do so, which could come back and haunt us, so I'm on the fence atm.
  12. This one is the best. Good god.
  13. Mick and toontownman That 4-3-2-1/4-5-1 formation could work very well, either with Jonas or Guthrie in the third midfielder role. Would be absolutely phenomenal to watch. It will never happen as long as Pardew's in charge though.
  14. I'd run down to the bookies and put an accumulator on if I was you.... 124/1 on SkyBet Fantastic value.
  15. No doubt he will go in the summer if this continues. When a player of his caliber is behind Ryan Taylor and Gabriel Obertan, then that says it all really. I'm not buying the "brilliant man management" suggestions. I think it's the exact opposite, regardless of what Pardew has done to get this club to 5th in the league. Ben Arfa has yet to be given an actual run in the team, and he's yet to do so with our best players in it (including actual strikers in front of him and a set of passing players all around). Such a shame all of this.
