I like Jonas, but no chance. This is the type of game where his weaknesses are highlighted. He's much more useful in a game against tougher opposition.
I have my issues with Pardew, but I was giddy when I saw this. It's a great move for all parties. Hope he's here for the whole term - would mean good times ahead.
In ten years time we'll be looking back fondly at this era and the absurdity of running the same "play" on every single set piece. At the moment it is incredibly irritating.
