Miami should work, particularly for baseball and soccer, but for a variety of reasons it just doesn't. However, it's a top-20 TV market and a top-3 hispanic market so you can understand the appeal from MLS's perspective.
Does this really mean anything? Won't this come down to the major club leagues banding together and fighting it? Plus potential lawsuits from Australia and the US.

At some point this season Remy is going to be injured or unavailable and it's obvious from Pardew's comments that Remy is why he feels comfortable with the 4-3-3. Remy injured > back to 4-4-2 or some other BS and we suck again.
So much of our season rests on him and HBA being fit. Scary.
Going to be some PR spin that the club has suggested he do.
As for his performance, agree that it was fairly average but certainly no worse. He will have much better days if we stick with this system.
