I would be far angrier if Loven was offered a new deal, in any capacity. Just feels right having Shola here.

Where do you suggest we find a LB of Enrique's quality? Pieters could turn out to be just as good. It's not like we're looking at Neil Taylor as a replacement. Also, Enrique doesn't want to be here. He's made that clear for a long time now. I think we're handling this pretty well - making sure we get a fair price, finding a replacement before he's gone, etc.

Bradford City one up on Leeds.

Get in Rotherham!

Samuel Eto'o's agent Vigorelli says Eto'o & Anzhi "have practically come to an agreement". Yeah, I'm sure that was real difficult. I imagine it went something like this... Anzhi: Sammy, we have built offer for you worth €20m per season, which by our calculation is approximately €270k per week. Eto'o: Anzhi: So we have a deal then? Eto'o: After leaving room with agent -

That is fucking brilliant. The P.S. we should play 4-4-2 and the bit about Gervinho's hair being frizzy both killed me. Fit in perfectly.

It's Mamadou Doucouré.

I considered flying over for this. Would be shitting myself right now if I had done.

Signed up, Set my preferred team, but it has to be 442. So Barfa's currently not in it and Best is. Tempted to swap Best for Sammy. f*** all to do right now. I just signed up. I set my preferred team. Now what?

Would be really funny if he got Sammy and Shola mixed up. Would make sense to get Sammy locked up since he seems to have found his stride over the last 6 months or so. According to nufc.com his contract is up in June. Unfortunately, so is Shola's.

Very little info. about him. Anyone know anything?
-
Though it will be their fault if they panic on the last day of the window and we haven't time to get an adequate replacement Agreed. If they are holding to certain terms now they need to be willing to keep him and see him go for nothing next summer.
-
I have no problem with the club holding out for what they think he's worth or the amount they've decided makes it worth cashing in on him. It's not the club's fault there isn't as much interest as he may have anticipated (same as Barton).

Just one that I can think of. My cousin was/is friends with Mark McGhee's son. One summer when I was visiting we went to his house. They had an old barn converted into an indoor football pitch so my cousin, his friend, and I played in there all day and then played Mario Kart all night. Slept over and then before we left the next day he gave me a Wolves shirt (he was managing them at the time). I was 12 or 13 at the time. Still have the shirt, although I can't get it on.

Been wondering that myself. Did a quick search and didn't find much, but I saw that Man Utd. announced theirs on August 13 last year, which was the day before the season started. -
I know nothing about him. Should we be happy if we do end up signing him?
-
I'd take that. Pretty sure we'll be seeing goals on both sides though.

Better than a new signing

Ajax paid €16.25 million for him. Highly unlikely. Would certainly change a few opinions on here. Scored twice for Ajax in their first game.

Wow, excellent from Krul. How did Loven not score?

Just reading through Championship match reports and saw this: Good lord - depressing really. The fact that Kanu was one of the subs made me chuckle though.

Had 15 two years ago - 7 of them penalties. Have a feeling people will look back and laugh that they were concerned Cabaye wouldn't be an adequate replacement for Nolan.
