Why not? As it stands, he never even makes the bench despite us being chronically goal shy. I'd hazard a guess that Rafa rates Ted Striker more than he does Mitrovic the striker. But we would be selling to a relegation rival? He'd probably hit a purple patch knowing our luck. Aye. He's barely had a chance this year and I think he'd probably score 1 or 2 important goals that might just keep them up. Meanwhile we'd have money in the bank and no one up top scoring. Just wouldn't bode well, especially with our luck.

I also agree with this. He's arguably our strongest winger defensively still though. Which doesn't say much but it offers a reason to why he always features.

I'd rather give out wingers more license to attack by having some fullbacks who can defend behind them. I'm absolutely certain the reason ritchie has to play is because of Yedlin's defensive problems. Aye. I agree with all of this. Think people don't like Dummett because they see him as the nervous kid that was being played out of position in a team that lacked character and that was relegated. He's grown as a player since then and it says it all that he featured more than any other player last season and has gone virtually straight back in the team once fit.

Defending is as much a part of the game as attacking. Not many attackers can defend, so why should we necessarily expect our full backs to attack? It is as much a part of the game to tackle and / or intercept as it is to score...

We owe it to the fan base. As always, we're planning for the next fixture and to a lesser degree the one after, and as always nothing will really be shared until we do the business on the day. We just hope it reflects our views as a group and the majority views of our fan base. As always, the support either financially or just with kind words is much appreciated by our lot and together we're all achieving good things not just the people directly doing displays on a match day.
