I have to go to my Mam's and eat dinner with work tomorrow. It cannot be the takeover.

fucking hell. It's Sunday man. The day of rest.

Rafa to walk tomorrow morning amid confirmation that the club isn't being sold. Shola to become manager. Newcastle to get number 23 away and win.

120million over 2 seasons and 40 new faces... Is this right?
-
Why would you spend a tenner buying something if you could do without it or buy the same for like a fiver?

It is massive, but we need to avoid this must win mentality, we had too many people saying that about the Brighton game, and at the end of the day it's just one game. It's one game where we're likely to win though. As opposed to Man City away. So I think it's a reasonable way for people to see the Swansea game

Teenagers shouldn't have kids to be honest, and it should never be used as an excuse. What? Where did I even say that?

Think it's a bit ridiculous stuff like this getting brought up from when he was a kid like. It's a stupid comment to make, obviously. However, if you were to take it seriously you'd have to question his upbringing or faith or whatever has made him arrive at that statement. Teenagers spout stupid shit all the time, because their young, impressionable and naive. How pathetic pulling out this 6 years later...

Swansea will also be looking at this as a must win game. They'll come out to attack us I reckon. We'll win.
-
I'd like us to get a very winnable home tie like. It's what we need going into the final third of the season. A nice win against league one or championship opposition to boost confidence. The home fans need it to enable them to calm their negativity for the league games too...

Aye. I think so. He reads the game well and makes clever runs. He also sees things that other players don't at times. He's not like Solano levels of intelligent but amongst our current crop and our crop that got relegated a couple of seasons ago he is definitely one of the more intelligent ones. I also think he knows how to draw a challenge and whilst bordering on simulation it's better than diving as in Gayles recent case(s?) . Whereas, people like Shelvey aren't intelligent, they just have vision and technical ability. Richie has physicality and technical ability, etc. I think Merino is the only one looking like he might be the one with all 3 attributes. Not sure why I've compared them like. Gayle is more raw for me, physical, has decent enough ability but just a lack of thought and poor decision making at times. Probably still our best striker though all being said. Joselu isn't a striker he's a target man. I'm not even counting Mitro tbh. Not cause he's any worse than Joselu but because he is seemingly away.
-
For me he is an intelligent and talented footballer that lacks physicality and that right there lies the reason for constant frustration. Gayle might put himself in the places Perez doesn't but I feel Perez is more of a natural. Joselu just doesn't get in those positions or places. Joselu and Perez could maybe work though?

This whole situation is. It is what it is. We all choose to view twitter, the papers and this forum so really we cannot complain. Just shows how desperate we are to rid our club of the fat cancerous twat

You raise a good point Neesy. Any of our first team squad should be beating league 2 opposition theoretically. I'd still go with what I said like for extra safety but you're right.
-
For me you put out your strongest players up the spine and fringe players in other positions then theoretically, once you've gained your lead you put lesser players on for your key players
-
It's definitely possible, it's just not really a point you'd make vociferously though is it? Unless you have an agenda or you're being needlessly pessimistic, it's a very Ando thing to do. Aye. I get that like. For me it's probably a little bit of age and cynicism. The lads not been played week in and week out and has played different roles. Surely it's worth noting that he is getting into the right place at the right times and taking chances, it's more than our other strikers at present. It frustrates me (and it's probably even worse on here) but some people decide they don't like someone and then everything they do is deemed not good enough regardless of how good it might have been. Like people are afraid to say they might have been wrong. Should take instances for what they are and be fair. Then use the outcome of numerous instances to determine a players quality...

You can play poorly and still score twice. I see that point. Depends on the run of the game though. Perez should have always been played on be shoulder of the last man for me.
-
That'd buy us a whole new squad.
-
Don't really care how he scores them if he's scoring them. That's part of being a good striker - anticipation and gambling on it. How many of Shearers goals were tap ins or penalties? Seems an irrelevant point to make to me.
-
Proof or fuck off tbh. pipe down.

It's happening on the 20th

I just think we're playing more difficult teams at home and we'll see us shut up shop against them as opposed to going for it. I'd agree that away against the likes of Palace might see us win or lose like. Worryingly, I thought my results were verging on optimistic rather than realistic too.
