I really, really, have to say - I thought he was our weakest link at the start of the season and he is our star man now. It is absolutely down to Eddie Howe and Lewis Hall as individuals but also Dan Burn, Joelinton and Anthony Gordon. Quality.

I think we have half a dozen players performing at their absolute maximum level, and whom have been for a fairly decent amount of time except for the odd blip. You would realistically expect all Man United's first 11 to be in contention to make a combined first 11 historically. I think Isak, Tonali and Bruno are probably the 3 that would buck that trend if all 22 were on form. As you say though, Amad aside I don't really see many (based on current form) ousting Newcastle's lot which is a testament to Eddie Howe.
