  1. Wor lass is a fan of the Spaghetti/Moretti combination like 🤌🤌
  2. Absolutely. What a bizarre way of going on
  3. Honestly man. The levels of disrespectful comments shown towards Howe. I know it's a football forum and folk can share their frustrations and all that general polite discussion bollocks, but fuck me man. Sticking to your guns still holds a lot more than this fickle, fuckery. Howe deserves our endless support and belief.
  4. What makes a good keeper nowadays? Liek what's the basis? I feel there's more emphasis with foot action than goalkeeping and if thatis genuinely the case then perhaps Dubravka is closer to number 1 at present...
  5. WARNING: DRINK INDUCED POST But all those folk seriously questionning Eddie Howe and his capability to proceed a few weeks back need to have a good, solid word with themselves and be rightfully ashamed. Critiquing is one thing but the suggestion of Iraola and Mourinho man. Fuck me. Come off the sauce
  6. I'm not laid back on Newcastle. I just want us want get that cup this year. It'd mean more than the world to me. This year. I'm sick of these bastards and others taking the piss who frankly don't get it.
  7. Exactly this. Fuck Man United.
  8. My God I desperately want this year to be the year. For more reasons than one. PLEASE.
  9. Aye it doesn't mean he slots straight in and fits the set up
  10. Likewise, I get what you're saying - I just think Man United need a real shake up of attitude and so I also see why he may not be concerned for ruffling feathers. It's time for those at Man United to stand up and be counted and I think those sort of comments ask questions of individuals' character.
  11. It's not rubbish though. Players take time to bed in and he has had to undertake that process to get us to where we are now at.
  12. Think it'll be an entertaining game for sure. Just hope we nab the first goal to unsettle them.
  13. He's right though. He can say that with little repercusison because it's not his team. He's landing it squarely at the players door and to some degree is right to do so. I genuinely believe those at Man United think they've made it because they're ar Man United when really, they've made it when they win things at Man United. Now January is here - you'd expect some significant transfer movement I think. Mind - if he cannot make the moves he wants in this window he's shooting himself in the foot a bit... I asked two Man United fans of they were worried about relegation last night. Was glorious.
  14. As @TheBrownBottlesuggests we were more like 5 at the back at the start.
  15. Sounds a whole lot like Eddie Howe to me...
  16. He hasn't though. Howe had us in an a lot more defensive set up when he first arrived and he built around our fortitude at the back from signings such as Trippier and Burn (then later adding Botman).
  17. Folk just want Newcastle to win games not to force the best individuals into the starting 11. I don't think that's unreasonable. There was and is also undue criticism of Longstaff which folk naturally (and correctly) want to defend him (Longstaff) against. Nonetheless, as you correctly say, we have now moved passed that period, thankfully.
  18. Surely for a manager it is first and foremost important to find a winning (or not losing) solution with the existing set of players and then to transition slowly to your desired style of play through the signing of players who fit your philosophy. For a 'How To...' guide see the 'Howe To...' guide.

    ...when Newcastle beat Liverpool.
  20. He wasn't - that's not necessarily his fault. Howe has managed him perfectly and managed the midfield perfectly to mould it to its current form. That takes time and did take time. It wouldn't have served Tonali's confidence or the confidence in Tonali well to simply continue without him performing to the levels he obviously can. So utilising Longstaff at times was the right thing to do. To take Tonali out of the light. We're now seeing the benefits of how he has managed the individuals and the collective.
