He's not. Burn is. At least

A fully fit, well drilled Matt Target possibly aye. I'll give you that. But personally I thought Targett was poor against 4th division opponents today. Hey ho. I am happy to put that down to rustiness.
-
I think he'd get better tbf shaking the rustiness off.
-
That's a radge outlook imo. Targett played Bromley. In the last like 13months Miggy and Longstaff played and pretty much matched PSG and Milan.
-
I actually think people think Targett played better because he won the pen (I mean, I think he did but it was up the Leazes and I'm pure blind )
-
Yeah but Miley played alreet

Not sure if lenient is what you meant or if it was sarcasm

Not sure I agree with this. Give him half a yard he can score. Probably moreso than Gordon, dare I say it. Gordon offers far more though in our general play.

Didn't kna you were a ghost

I was just being facetious, lighten up buddy.
-
He is presently a leader of our second string in terms of ability, for me.
-
You're entitled to. But you're 100% incorrect.
-
Yeah. I think there's enough there to sugest he's a good squad player for us undoubtedly. Even a first teamer in certain circumstances. Just he needs to shake the habit of playing the same standard as opposition when they're of a lower standard.
-
There were times first half where not only was his distribution poor, but he showed no attempt to be in the progressive poisitions he should have been in, was not in the defensive positions he should have been in, was too left footed and made bad decisions. He was literally poor in every aspect of his game. I hate being "this guy" but he was. It's literally so unlike me.

Yeah, I mean he looked decent in a side that was aspiring to be just above relegation. I have nowt against the lad, it's nowt personal, I agree today he will have been rusty and that a fully fit and regularly fielded Targett is better than I witnessed today, but on today's showing alone, he showed he was miles off the pace both physically and mentally versus league two opposition.
-
Out of curiosity, what did he do well today in your opinion? (Against 4th division opponents?)
-
I genuinely believe he's one of the best second keepers in the country I mean is he even our second keeper? Not sure at present.
-
I really don't wanna rule the kid out. I think he's of the level we are at so to speak with regards to the squad. He isn't good enough to keep an in form Gordon out, but he is enough to keep pressure on Gordon. If I were him and wanted to excel I be thinking what can I do on the right to cement a place tbh. But with how Murphy is currently playing, it'd be a tough ask. Folk won't like to admit it, but Murphy is up there with Gordon if not better this season, so far.

Aye. He's a squad player for us like. Will do a grand job of closing teams out but that's it. Love his effort, his desire, his local pride, everything. Love his fragility to some degree, reminds me that he's just a local and living the dream. Will always back him for that. Just won't take us to the next level. Really hope he's happy being a squad man for us tbh, that kinda desire to play for us is infectious to some degree.

I hate it because it is a True Faithism. That is all.
-
you know me. I'll be positive where I can. I just think when PL sides come up against League 2 (Division 4) opposition and want to prove their worth (even as a squad player) then more should be offered than was displayed today by certain folk. Decision making and lack of thought is just inexcusable.

Who signed Targett? He seems like an overhang from a previous regime following his numerous injuries. I don't blame the lad. He was decent when he first came in. I am certain holds the right attitudes, but sadly.is not of the level we require.
