  1. I suspect it's so the younger players cannot be in the way / a distraction and the players can be gathered in which ever the part of the facilities they need to be in. For example, in the gym area it means everything is available and none of the bairns are on the equipment. Balls flying across the pitch during drills, etc due to misplaced passes. Another theory is that he's kicking arse a bit and doesn't want any of it getting back / out and / or demotivating the kids.
  2. I've just started singing for the team over the top of the applause. It's an indirect way of saying stop the clapping but still think / do what they would have done.
  3. Will be interesting what happens with Sports Direct shares should Jonas win his case against the club. I'm not 100% sure how all this works but I suspect the media will use this as further justification that he is in fact an unjust owner of any business should Jonas win.
  4. Also, I'm talking more about form than ability. He's been our most in form player this season, which like Disco says is probably why we are where we are. There's only really Wijnaldum that comes close and he goes missing half the time.
  5. His distribution has gone totally backwards like, the one thing he seemingly better than Krul at to start with. Sure it's something to do with our coaching / club like. We haven't had a keeper that could kick consistently well since Pav. I don't think he's made many stand-out errors where goals have been solely his fault like. Worst thing I can think of recently is how rooted to the spot he was for Shaqiri's goal. He's saved us as many points as he's (arguably) thrown away, Bournemouth (a) being the stand out game. The vast majority of our goals conceded have came as a result of poor organisation, dedication and professionalism in front of him.
  6. Don't really get how you can say that...
  7. And that's why we're going down. Aye - probably.
  8. I know it was hit hard but Elliott's parry was f***ing terrible too, I have no idea what the defenders were thinking though, 4 of them followed the ball and left every Sunderland player in the box free, bizzare. We're really bad at getting the ball away from danger in general though, it's worrying. Even before that though, the closing down and attempts to block the shot were pathetic. For me Colbacks inability to use his right foot cost us. He could have got that off the line if he swung a right leg at it. Only seen it once again like, briefly. Also Elliott wasn't at all at fault for me like.

    Papiss Cissé

Would score the goals to get us safe, imo. Despite not being his biggest fan.
  10. Sissoko should have been dropped for his attitude alone.
  11. I forgot a few on your list of 'goers'. I think Shelvey would stay, he's been quoted as saying he'd want to, but I guess the club may feel the need to cash in. I think Townsend would stay also. I'm fairly sure Anita would go. Same for Saivet. Agree on Mitro, gut feel is that he'd like to stay. The gutting thing is that there is no way NUFC would pay Rafa's money in the championship and he'd be the biggest loss of all. Literally, the only glimmer of hope throughout pretty much the entire Ashley era and we'd lose him for the sake of a few million and him wanting to work for the club. That would never happen under an ambitious board/owner. I'd sell any player if I thought that money would contribute to Rafa staying. Aye, I wasn't so certain on Shelvey leaving like and think he'd be massive for us to keep. I'd probably about Benitez though. The one thing we need to do is ensure we act quickly in the window if we do go down. Get everything in place immediately and start afresh.

Sorry about the size of the photo btw. Aye, I'd say so... Us at home (draw) Palace away (hate to say it think Pards will win that one) Sunderland at home (draw) Watford at home (draw) Arsenal away (loss) Man U at home (loss) Everton away (loss) That was my prediction anyways. Maybe a bit harsh on them?
  13. The following would all be gone: Krul, Janmaat, Coloccini, Mbemba, Sissoko, Gouffran, Marveaux (?) Wijnaldum, Shelvey, Townsend, Perez, Cisse and De Jong. I have doubts about one or two of them but think that's pretty much worse case scenario. A little piece of me and maybe my naívety thinks Mitro would stay and would be pretty boss in the Championship. Armstrong would come back and play alongside him and we'd end up with probably Pearson as manager. Not sure who else we'd get in, but I reckon the team would probably look something like this: Elliott Mbabu Taylor Lascelles Dummett Obertan (?) Colback Anita Aarons Mitro Armstrong

http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160322/e5a1513f5299c96a6a486f8a58fd1fba.jpg Think we will do it still like. That's with a draw away to Norwich too. Wins vs Villa, Swansea and Palace Losses vs Liverpool, Southampton, Man City and Spurs Draw away at Norwich Had the mackems to beat West Bromwich, draw against Leicester, Norwich and at home to Chelsea then lose the rest. Can only see Norwich getting 3 more points...all draws and two of them against us and the SMBs
  15. Go to town on them Jonas son. Once a mag always a mag
  16. Problem is we have lack of aerial threat rather than simply the delivery. People like Sissoko for example who are 6ft3 and shite in the air

    Dogawful Officiating

I'm sick of the perception that some degree of simulation must occur to ensure you get the correct decision to. Things like being tripped or caught late and getting fuck all because you somehow stayed on your feet. It just adds the professional cheating nature of modern football.
  18. I disagree I think the gap between our central midfielders and centre halves is huge it's like a chasm either we press as a team try to be compact, Shelvey is prone to pressing at stupid times which leaves our centre halves very vulnerable. If we had more tactically aware players this wouldn't be an issue though...as they'd all either press or not collectively. Another thing, players would slot in to cover if they had more thought
