Why do they even have injury time? Just stop the clock...
-
If it hadn't have been for Mitro getting knocked out I think we may have won
-
Aye[emoji38]actually love the chant now though[emoji38]

His introduction massively influenced the game in our favour yesterday. I like De Jong but he's immobile
-
He's always s*** in football matches.

I subscribe to this. I think there's too much emphasis put on tracking back and fouling people and we've got Pardew to thank for that in part. He has put in dozens of pathetic performances in which he blatantly hasn't put in any sort of effort. It really isn't difficult to get your head round at all. To be fair I've missed a lot of our games this year due to not giving much of a f***. However it seems that people are saying that he didn't put any effort in yesterday or against Leicester and I saw those games and can't agree with that. I'm very Anti-Sissoko but even I think he's put shifts in since Rafa has come. Not saying he's been fantastic like but a damn site better than previously. His confidence looks shot like. Probably from the booing he (rightly) received against Bournemouth.

Colback had his arse handed to him yesterday. Is he always shit in derbies?
-
We need Mitro as the target man and Perez playing off him on the shoulder of the last man with someone like De Jong or Wijnaldum in behind. Townsend on one wing and dare I say it Sissoko on the other with Shelvey mopping up as a deep lying playmaker. Defensively minded and competent full backs and obviously the two CBs and keeper. For me the issue is Sissoko and virtually all of our CBs need chasing and replaced. Then need to buy at least two LBs as well.

I've liked what I've seen from him. He was doing loads of winding up and niggly shit off the ball yesterday and his range of passing is fantastic. If only SDJ was more mobile they'd arguably be the best possible pairing.

Absolutely loved the 20minute rendition of Toon Toon, Black and White Army through the whole of half time after they scored. Was well proud.
-
Think he'll run upto level 7 and chin all the mackems single handedly
-
If he scores today and gets the winner at that[emoji38]

Had to laugh today like. 2 of the mackems teamed up on me and gave it the whole "six in a row" nonsense claiming we'd be "chewing the fat in the Toon after another defeat." To which I replied "wasn't it something daft like 20 years before you finally beat us on home soil. The 3rd who was listening in pulled some sort of twisty face as though I was being childish and said "Yeah it must be daft cause that didn't happen." I got home and checked on the Internet[emoji38]28 years from 1980 to 2008 before they finally recorded another home win against us.[emoji38]can dish it out but not take it the fucking paedos

His interviews are so good man. The fact he took the Spanish question and relayed all the conversation back in English to everyone else probably impressed me as much as anything - as daft as it sounds. Shows he is intelligent, polite and professional. He's subtly pulling everyone on board too instead of being too in your face with the whole Toon Army we need you pleas. Just saying he knows the fans will get behind them, almost as if it's expected. Therefore we have our obligation too almost. He's not saying that but that's how it feels. He is right though, for him it's a clean slate and he will want it that way. Fuck me...even McClaren had people singing his name at first. Will be bouncing for Rafa. Desperately hope we get a point at least vs Leicester because the Derby will be absolutely bouncing if we do. Win that and we will be safe.

I like a good defensive display from time to time (England vs Italy before WC '98 springs to mind) but generally I disagree with that notion. Defending like that is in itself an admission by the manager and players that the other team are better. What I'm getting at though is in that specific game it doesn't mean they've been the better team. I agree that for example Norwich sat in today and that is an admission that Man City are a better side in terms of ability, etc. But in terms of performance Norwich arguably were the better side. They stuck to their tactics and achieved what they seemingly aimed for. City didn't.

Fucking useless Citeh wankers.
-
When people say that the attacking team has been the better team despite not being ahead. It's bollocks really. The defensive team might be actively trying to prevent the other team from winning and as a result if they're not behind they're actually performing better...
-
Just a quick glance but he was 16 and in Senegal. Bit fucking different.

Did you have a beer can sandwich? Aye. Think my Mam was sick of me calling her Dar-a-tee too[emoji38]

Absolutely love the excitement it's generated. Last night my whole family and girlfriend were like "Why are you so hyper?"[emoji38]walking round doing Jamaican accents just cause we were going to eat at Turtle Bay and generally being stupid. So glad we have him in charge. Fingers crossed it works.

Well this has certainly reinstalled some faith in my belief that Newcastle United is, and for a long time will be, considered a big club. The mackems and Norwich will hate this fact and actually if the vile hadn't twisted earlier in the game then they may have been able to attract him also. The most important thing here is motivation and for someone in the stands this will greatly motivate me. I suspect he will sufficiently motivate key players like Sissoko once again and we will progress. With everything pointing in the right direction come May, I hope the board realise that all along the fans were to be listened to. Pardew will potentially be sacked at Palace and Carver and McClaren will be jobless. Newcastle on the up and the rest of England bitter as f*** because actually...We, the fans, were right. Fingers crossed!
