I was just speaking to a mate who supports PSG. He is expecting gameiro to come to them as they apparently have 140m to invest in players over the next 3 years. On the subject of erding he said he would happily drive him to Newcastle. Had quite a good year last year apparently but he doesn't rate him, can't head a ball, is moderately quick, not very good at finishing is the description I got.

I'd be happy to see that go through like. Weakens a rival and probably won't make an astronomical difference to Liverpool i wouldn't have thought. I didn't realise Young was still attracting those sorts of reputed fees. The 'being English' inflation really is ridiculous at times. £50m on Carroll and Young. Wut. Young is well worth £15m on anyone's money and is exactly what liverpool need, especially with Carroll. If I was to go for 1 winger in the world it would be loic remy. 7m for berbatov seems like a bargain. Even if he is 30 he is still quality. Would mean less high crosses though as I don't think his heading is that good but that would somewhat suit ben arfa, jonas, and someone like gervinho
