He's replacing Barnetta as far as I'm concerned. I hope he does well but we've had enough pacey headless chickens down the years to know by now that it rarely works. I've got a framed picture I'm looking to sell. It's a panoramic view from the back of the Milburn Stand during the NUFC 4-3 MUFC game in 2001. It was Sir Bobby's 100th game in charge and has printed signatures around the outside of Robson and all the NUFC players involved. It'll be going on eBay but I'll take a tenner for it. It was initially bought for £35. Would definitely be interested mate but am not going to be in the area again until the Arsenal game. If it goes on e-bay let me know and I will get on it. Happy to pay the p and p if it's any good.

Cheers guys, in that case can anyone recommend any decent/reasonably priced NUFC pictures/canvases? Recently decorated my bedroom in order to cover up the NUFC wallpaper and removed the flag, curtains and carpet, in favour of a more adult look, but still fancy a few carefully placed Newcastle related items.

Exactly. Yeah i'd rather be without arguably our best player in our biggest away game of the season. Just like I wasn't at all gutted that Tiote missed the game last year through suspension as, after all, it was a game he would probably have got sent off in anyway!

If he had a hamstring twinge earlier in the week then there is absolutely no point in risking him in a friendly a few days later, regardless of whether he declares himself fit or not.

I play quite a bit of basketball and have a weakness in one ankle, once in a while I will go over on it, it will swell up like a balloon and I literally cannot put any weight at all on it, however, within 2-3 days it is much better and I am usually back able to cycle or something again within a week.

Because he's the kind of player that attracts challenges of all kinds by keeping the ball, running with it and running at people. And that's what we all want him to do but it seems his body might have a low level of tolerance to said challenges. Bit harsh, it's not like he's picking up little niggles. There's not much you can do if you get a whack on the ankle, no matter how strong/hard you are. You can do even less about a massive flying dutchman snapping your leg in half!

Yea I thought I read that season ticket holders were members this year as well. Will we get the discount vouchers that are on offer? Perhaps they will come with the season tickets. The whole membership scheme does seem to be pretty unclear, no one is really sure exactly what you get; for example it seems that there are special 'members only' prices for home games - does this mean that there will not be any discount vouchers for home games this year? Also the official site says that if you refer a friend to the membership scheme you get a free ticket to a home game. I assume that will be a Cat C game, although there are no details. Perhaps then if you can get a friend to refer you (again no details as to how to do this!) then the free ticket might just about negate the cost of the membership itself. If anyone can find out how to do this am happy to refer people and let them have the free ticket.

He probably was. He's had the best part of 18 months to spend concentrating on sculpting those guns though!
