  1. Not necessarily, this is a different development and information from the previous application won't necessary be directly applicable or might be out of date. Seems like the main holdups on the last application were with the Environment Agency (who shouldn't need to be consulted on this one as it's a minor development) and the Coal Authority. Most delays in planning are actually caused by consultees, or more precisely applicants not submitting adequate information to allow consultees to say it's OK.
  2. They did, and hopefully this should be more straightforward, but it's pretty much impossible to prejudge how long a planning application will take.
  3. For context, that took 9 months, 15 months if you count the original withdrawn application.
  4. Just surprising how little he seems to have done, from a quick google search, some mock-ups for L.R. Vicenza and small domestic extensions. I would have expected with the Reuben's and PIF's connections a big architecture firm or an experienced architect. There doesn't look to be anything wrong with the application but it's surprising that they have chosen someone with seemingly little experience, at least by his public profile, which architects will usually play up rather than down.
  5. I suppose it's a pretty small scale job, but surprisingly low profile choice of architect.
  6. Wor Flags are amazing and beyond criticism, but I think that display at the Palace match possibly just served to feed into his ego, which really doesn't need any extra feeding.
  7. Don't even really have to prove they're clean, the burden of proof is on the person who makes the accusation, they would have to prove that they're not, see the Lane Norton vs. Jason Blaha case.
  8. I don't think that's true, people cycle to try lessen the health and other impacts of long term continuous use, particularly of the more toxic steroids. But there's unlikely to be a big advantage from anabolic steroids in football, the advantage would come from stuff like EPO or an undetectable equivalent, of which there are allegedly many.
  9. Aye, athletic world records that we now know were set juiced to the gills are still being broken because of 'improvements in sports science'.
  10. Goalkeeper has single handedly thrown this away.
  11. Yeah, I always particularly disliked it after Bilbao.
  12. Obviously, if they didn't give it, but still think that's a foul. And sorry for discussing stuff on a discussion forum, my bad.
  13. He just threw himself at the man, the fact that the ball hit the GK (after the player had got a touch on it) as the GK flattened him doesn't make it not a foul.
  14. He rugby tackled him to 'get the ball'.
  15. Would laugh my cock off if the 'quadruple chasing greatest team in the world ever' got knocked out tonight.
  16. Thank fuck for our run of four wins in a row, we were far more at risk of relegation than people realised going into that and I think we'll need every one of those wins to be safe on the final day.
  17. They have the money, they're just not allowed to spend it due to FFP.
  18. Leeds are the team to do that, one loss and they can't realistically pass us with their goal difference deficit. They've got to be favourites to go down now.
  19. But he touched the ball first, Schar was actually lucky not to get booked for kicking Milner as he scythed through him with studs up.
  20. Shak's post nails the moment.
