  1. Pathetic. Don't go to a 'music festival' and instead sit at home watching the derby on an Indonesian stream. An insight into why you are seemingly always online, tbh.

    Each to their own.

I'm suggesting you don't act like an utter prick questioning the legitimacy of other people's support over the internet. You can do what you want and watch as many games as you like, it doesn't concern me, just don't try to belittle other supporters who invest time and money into supporting the club.

I don't question the legitimacy of other people's support, but being told I'm 'oblivious' (as well as thick, idiotic, cretinous etc) of going-ons at the club by someone in Korea is inciting, imo.

Why should the fact that you know real people who support newcastle make you a bigger fan?  The guy travelled from Korea (i presume) to watch a match, which is pretty dedicated.  And come to think of it, why'd you bring up him feeling he was racially abused into it?  A real fan would have taken the abuse on the chin?  (granted I have no knowledge what this is in reference to).

I have family and friends in the Newcastle area - this is what I meant by ties to the North East, and being around other supporters from a young age.

Good on him for travelling all that way, that is incredibly dedicated. As is the 10 hour round trip that I and other South-East based supporters do on a regular basis...

  2. What are your ties to the area then? What makes you such a brilliant fan whereas oldtype is apparently 'plastic'?

Half of my family are from the NE. I've been a supporter since birth. I go to games and have done since I was four years old. I know real people, not just forum usernames that are supporters. Yet, you are suggesting I should compare myself as a Newcastle United supporter to someone on the other side of the world.

Ultimately you're in a glass house throwing stones.

Exactly. Fan from the South East who misses games to go to music festivals because football 'isn't his life' taking it upon himself to call other supporters of the club plastic.

    He's a soopafan who isn't actually a soopafan! Amazing.

  3. I also seem to remember colocho saying he didn't watch the derby because football wasn't his entire life.

Sunderland away. How would I watch if I wasn't at the match? I was out for the day with little internet access and criticised for not following the game...

What ties are they? I thought you said on here you had no ties to the region?

    Lie. I never said that.

  4. The guy not from the region that mocks and insults the locals over the internet and has the audacity to claim to represent them. You're a knacker, plain and simple.

For all you having a go at oldtype for having 'no connection to the club', you could be accused of exactly the same thing. I mean, it's not like oldtype pays hundred of pounds and travels half way round the world to watch matches. Fair weather supporter, clearly.

When have I ever claimed to represent anybody? Oldtype is a plastic fan. The only time he's been to Newcastle he cried about being 'racially abused'. He also claims I look for photos of 'Asians' to reply to him with... The boy is a fool, typical KBJ.

I mock and insult Geordies? haha.

He's so completely and utterly oblivious. It's just unreal.

Coming from someone whose links to the club don't extend beyond a computer screen?

Hold on, aren't you from the south east?

...and what does that have to do with anything?

  5. Agenda horse is off again i see.......

And what agenda is that? How will the club selling Tiote have a positive effect on me..?

As if someone like you wont have a 'i told you so' smug moment afterwards

You think I want the club to sell Tiote, one of the most naturally gifted players we've had in years for an 'I told you so' moment on an online fans' forum? Pull yourself together. You don't know me.

If you dont enjoy being such a boring, endlessly negative drama queen on here why do you bother? Do you feel better about yourself droning on about the same crap?

Didnt you do an 'i told you so' post when Marveaux broke down? Yeah its out of the question for you to do anything like that when it comes to NUFC......

Oh and i didnt say you wanted us to sell him, just that you would revel in saying i told you so if/when it happened, not for the first time you ignore the point raised.

Potential sale of Tiote, lack of a new contract for Coloccini, five-year deal for Marveaux - all fair gripes, imo. I was called negative for describing the signing of Marveaux as irresponsible and pointing out his injury record - I may have been guilty of an 'I told you so' post when he broke down, but only because I was called a negative twat etc when we signed him...

As for Tiote, it'll hurt to see him go. I do appreciate that if an offer comes in and the player wants to leave, there's not a lot we can do...

  6. I did think Colocho had been relatively quiet on the negativity lately. Back with a fucking vengeance today with both Colo and Tiote.

Because we have been making progress.

Whilst this is the astute thing to do - surely we can sustain £70k wages for a player of Coloccini's importance? Our captain - arguably the best defender this club has had in the Premier League. A reduction in his wages from £70k a week (£3.6m a year) to £40k a week (£2m a year) is a saving of £1.6 million a year - just how significant is this saving? Are Ashley and pals willing to gamble the future of such an important player for £1.6 million a year?

When you consider the £26m profit earned from the sales of players this year (believe the wage bill has only slightly increased) surely we should be in a position to keep a player integral to our success at the club? There are other considerations to be made, such as Steven Taylor's injury (he could be out for a year) - if Colo is sold, what will be our CB pairing at the start of next season? What about the inevitable exit of Alan Smith and the £60,000 a week that would 'free up' on the wage bill. Surely half of that could be used to keep Coloccini happy?

Where else could we sign a player of Coloccini's quality - with an outlay of less than £15m over four years?

  7. I didn't know a contract had been offered...

Yet you still feel the need to compare it to the Enrique situation, grow up.

    December 2010 - Enrique hadn't signed a new contract.

August 2011 - Enrique signs for Liverpool.

    December 2011 - Coloccini hasn't signed a new contract.

  9. I met Santon and Tioté today at work. I asked Tioté if he was fit to play on Saturday and he said yes.

He said the same before the ManU game.

If Tioté isn't in the team on Saturday he's a bloody liar!  :knuppel2:

Or the club are trying to minimise the risk of him getting injured.
