I don't think they will sell him yet, for a start. He is what, 21/22, has bags of potential and knows it. Personally, I think he would rather prove himself for at least another season and attract bigger and better clubs than Everton. He's going to be playing Champions League football with the club he's been at since he was a kid, I just can't see him leaving them for a club like Everton.

Watched an U-19s match between Czech Republic and Italy. Italy's target man, Okaka (sp) seems to be quite a prospect. I'd guess he's just over 6 foot tall, and has a great abilty to hold up the ball for midfielders and provide knock on's for his strike partner, only 18 as well. He's currently owned by Roma.

He's of Nigerian descent and was on loan at Modena last season, where he scored 7 league goals. Someone to keep an eye on in my opinion.

This isn't meant as one of those "My Dad/Mum/Granddad/Sister/Room-mate/Pet tortoise got x disease, so you're not allowed to talk about it" posts, but someone I (vaguely) know got Malaria and died recently, so for purely foot-in-mouth type reasons it might be wise to hang fire with taking the piss. At least until you know he's not going to pop his clogs, anyway.

 

On the other hand, if you won't feel bad if he did, then go for it, it doesn't bother me, just thought you might like to know one possible outcome and save yourself some feelings of regret if it happened.

Highlight of his time here

his performance at home V arsenal and his goal at charlton....still not much to show for his time here. i was expecting a lot more from him and was quite happy when he signed.

His goal at Watford in the cup was a highlight for me.
