Ismael Aissati to Ajax, from PSV.
Strange transfer in my opinion.

Toure's got it as well.
Why aren't these idiots taking malaria tablets when they go home!?

Guttierez should get the number 8 which is free now.
And Beye better get number 2.

Marca claiming that Valencia will sell David Villa and David Silva - some sort of financial problems I think.

Word that Aimar was unhappy with the personal terms on offer from United does not sit comfortably with the news that he signed a deal worth just £18,000-a-week at Benfica.
f*** off.
25k-30k Euros seems like the kinda of wages Benfica would pay, they haven't that much money these days.
Article seems to be pro-Keegan and snipe at MA.
Apparently, they matched his wages at Zaragoza - and AS and Marca both mentioned at one point that Zaragoza could not afford his wages.
He must have been on more than 25,000 euros at Zaragoza, having joined from Valencia and established himself as a key player ...

Everton aren't going to sign Moutinho for fucks sake.
Why not?
I don't think they will sell him yet, for a start. He is what, 21/22, has bags of potential and knows it. Personally, I think he would rather prove himself for at least another season and attract bigger and better clubs than Everton. He's going to be playing Champions League football with the club he's been at since he was a kid, I just can't see him leaving them for a club like Everton.

Watched an U-19s match between Czech Republic and Italy. Italy's target man, Okaka (sp) seems to be quite a prospect. I'd guess he's just over 6 foot tall, and has a great abilty to hold up the ball for midfielders and provide knock on's for his strike partner, only 18 as well. He's currently owned by Roma.
He's of Nigerian descent and was on loan at Modena last season, where he scored 7 league goals. Someone to keep an eye on in my opinion.

This isn't meant as one of those "My Dad/Mum/Granddad/Sister/Room-mate/Pet tortoise got x disease, so you're not allowed to talk about it" posts, but someone I (vaguely) know got Malaria and died recently, so for purely foot-in-mouth type reasons it might be wise to hang fire with taking the piss. At least until you know he's not going to pop his clogs, anyway.
On the other hand, if you won't feel bad if he did, then go for it, it doesn't bother me, just thought you might like to know one possible outcome and save yourself some feelings of regret if it happened.
He's in the Royal Hospital Chelsea, if you want to go and see him on his death bed.

Premier League 08/09
Who'll be bottom after 10 games? Stoke 9/4, West Brom 3/1, Bolton 12/1 or Newcastle 50/1.

Insua on for Liverpool.
-
Interesting, wonder what position he will play.
Makes a mockery of his excuse to leave Tyneside for London.
I know his wife and kids are in London but surely LA is miles closer to Peru so his wife and bairn will probably move to LA anyway. I know I would.
Aren't they divorced?

Martins.
-
Regarding Owen and Martins, I think we need to sign at least one creative midfielder before we can really get excited about that partnership.
-
We probably offered him more money than Benfica, but remember, we did finish 12th last season and we're not in the UEFA Cup!
-
Haha, just reading the paper there, I see he is already in hospital! Contracted malaria apparanently.
Unbelievable.
Go back a page.

his performance at home V arsenal and his goal at charlton....still not much to show for his time here. i was expecting a lot more from him and was quite happy when he signed.parker --- never going to forget his tackle on joe cole, he almost got a legend status for me with that one...
Parker --- the master of winning back the ball after he'd given it away in the first place.
but still, he sendt cole flying, im happy enough with that
Highlight of his time here
His goal at Watford in the cup was a highlight for me.
