They have that giant Cardozo upfront..
Wouldn't be averse to us buying him.
We were linked to him under Allardyce.

-- Sagna -- Ferdinand -- Vidic -- Evra
Bentley -- Gerrard -- Fabregas -- Ronaldo
------------ Torres -- Adebayor --------------

Consider the difference in wages and the motivation of the players.
-
The statistics speak for themselves.
You simply cannot use statistics to judge how well a player is playing. Essien does not play behind the striker, Gerrard does.
Of course you can. Goals are what win games and Essien simply does not contribute as much as Gerrard does to win games. Gerrard is Liverpool, he is more important than Torres. The same cannot be said for Essien. Essien does not have a vital role in the team, he isn't outstanding almost every week.
Gerrard is.

As someone suggested before, my only worry is that Modric could become the next Viana. It's vital that he puts some weight on and gets stronger without sacrificing his ball skills.
-
What has he done this season that Gerrard hasn't?
-
They have the big, strong centre-backs that are essential to any Allardyce side in Luisao and Leo. Two full-backs who spend most of the time going forward. Petit, the defensive midfielder would find himself a regular under Allardyce as would Rui Costa for novelty value. Then there is Freddy Adu who would probably rot away under along with their other promising creative player Di Maria. Allardyce could have two target men in Oscar Cardozo and Makuluka as well as the overrated and long gone Nuno Gomes.
It's almost like it's meant to happen.

15 million Euros, I would like to add. Which is around £12 million.

James
Sagna Vidic Ferdinand Evra
Ronaldo Essien Fabregas Young
Adebayor Torres
Subs: Friedel, Carvalho, Hleb, Rooney, Anderson, Santa Cruz and Barry
That's mine after 5 minutes thinking about it so it's subject to change. What's yours?
PS. I was tempted to put Beye in but Sagna's just been better throughout the season imo.
Almost spot on, but there is absolutely no way you can have Essien over Gerrard.
Why?
It's clear to most people that Gerrard and Torres has been the most formidable partnership in the Premiership this season, think about it, which two players have had a better link-up this season? Gerrard has scored 11 goals in the league this season and has directly created another 11 goals, aside from being instrumental in pretty much everything Liverpool do. He is the backbone of the whole club, and in my opinion has proved himself to be the best centre midfielder in the world this season.
Essien on the other hand has scored 3 goals, and has 6 assists. He hasn't even been a first team player for a lot of the season and missed 5 games whilst he was in Africa alone. Essien does not do for Chelsea what Gerrard does for Liverpool and has certainly not been better than him this season.

That story is about Krancjar recommending the Premiership to Modric.
Apparently the whole deal is being spearheaded by Dennis Wise.

Been very impressed whenever I've seen him. Got the same celebration as Martins like.
-
Riise might have been on a goal bonus to aid his recent financial troubles.
Or bet on 1-1.
-
The time to play the likes of Edgar & Carroll imo will be at Everton if it's mathematically impossible to finish 10th. I know we've done a lot of good work the last two months, but it would be a shame to finish with a form record of WDWLLL. Think we should go all out in every game still.
Agreed.
-
What does he shout? Sounds like "penguin".
That's what it sounded like to me too.
-
IF KK get Riise in over Enrique i would seriously question him as our manager.
I don't think i'd be the only one.
It simply will not happen, he's not mad, he's not stupid, he's not trying to ruin us.
I really don't think we should be put off signing Riise just because of last night.

I know Christianity is fading away in this country, but to use football as a scapegoat?
-
The referee is Urinal Rennie.
That's put a downer on the journey down.
-
What's the score going to be tonight?
-
Surely it's got to be Riise or Bridge.
-
Certainly proved me wrong after a few car crash performances earlier in the season. Good player.
Honestly Which were his car crash performances? Liverpool at a push....
I can't remember any winger giving him a really tough time.
What's his name again? You know, that Man Utd player ...
-
Not a bad player
I get the feeling you must watch football all day every day. You seem to know every player in the world.
That, or he plays FM every day.
The latter I imagine.

Spurs fan talking about another side being a one man team
Berba 23 goals
Keane 22 goals
Steed player of the season
Keane could be Santa Cruz in your example, as Malbranque could be Bentley. Fact is you lot were s**** until Berbatov decided to bother again
FALSE. Berbatovs sudden improvement has seen us do nothing but draw lately. Keane and steed have been better than him this season. Berbs hasnt saved us, or do anything remotly like that tbh.
Fact is, not one of our players has been as important as frediel has for Rovers.
Fact is Bentley & Santa Cruz have been just as important as Friedel for Blackburn. Saying anything else is a load of bollocks.
Spot on. Kingdawson is disillusioned tbh.
