  1. Give Elliot his due, he's arguably been one of our best players this season and will be missed. His save from van Aanholt in the derby was outstanding by anyone's standard.

Hands down. Barkley's actually the more talented out of the two imo but lacks a football brain to go with it. Alli's far sharper in the final third and generally more mature as a player.
  3. Elliot Anita Lascelles Mbemba Sissoko Shelvey Wijnaldum Townsend de Jong Perez Mitrovic ..is what I think it'll be and, to be honest, what I would probably go with as well.

Dodgy bump after a few beers, apologies. Probably not worthy of of discussion, but Noble - surely not good enough?
  5. Yep. Would prefer Wij in the middle with Shelvey and then Perez out wide. Can't put Sissoko anywhere near first team atm, he's diabolical. perez needs dropping and gini should go back out wide imo. Gini's a defensive liability out wide. Never tracks his man.
  6. Thought he was decent today
  7. based on what?! The only way he should be in the team is with someone like Perez linking up with him. Plus Perez has actually scored 5 goals for us this season and needs the confidence to keep playing from a new manager. De Jong has done f*** all for us this season. Based on Perez being constantly outmuscled in the middle by Kirchoff and wanting too many touches in congested areas probably. de Jong was more effective in the centre due to his size and the way he looks to move the ball quickly. If Perez is to stay in the side, he's better suited to playing on the left imo.
  8. Perez was poor in the hole but much better coming off from the left. I'd be tempted to move Sissoko into the middle and have Perez and Townsend on the flanks. Or, if de Jong has to play, play him in the hole and drop one of Perez/Townsend/Sissoko.
  9. Thought Sissoko was surprisingly excellent at LB actually, usual frustrations put aside.
  10. Battled back well in the second half to be fair, even if we were desperately short on quality in the final third. Allardyce got what he deserved for shutting up shop so early - footballing cowardice at its finest.
  11. Thank fuck Niall Quinn isn't doing the co-commentary by the way.
  12. Bit concerned about Shelvey and Wijnaldum in the middle. Good lineup otherwise.
  13. He's looked sharp since coming back, agreed.
  14. 1-0 Arsenal. Welbeck finishes off a cracking move.
  15. Where's that? Chronicle. Calf problem apparently. He's training today though.
