  1. Can't imagine Plymouth will bring a lot either.
  2. Aye might as well go for it, lads will be rested, good prep for West Brom.
  3. Agreed, the snow is still falling accross the south and that stretch from Wycombe to Basingstoke got hammered again. I think most of the games around the country will be off this weekend. Even if they can keep pitches clear the authorities will say conditions around the stadium are unacceptable. Aye, very few games will survive this weekend.
  4. according to the Yorkshire post we havent ! http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/football/Exclusive-Kilgallon-is-committed-to.5958321.jp Chronicle says we haven't as well. Believe the yorkshire and the chronicle or the sun? http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2010/01/06/kilgallon-snubs-chance-to-join-nufc-72703-25537254/ Chronicle has quotes, believe them. Not bothered, can find cover somewhere else.
  5. This. Never been to the Hawthorns. If I do I'll have been 3 times in the last 12 months, seen 1 win, 1 draw and probably a loss. Good atmosphere?
  6. We aren't gonna win the cup, a bit of a Cinderella run would be nice and I'll cheer for us in every game obviously, but I'd get over it pretty quickly if we went through this tie and lost in the 4th or 5th round. Aye, because Man United are going to. :lol fucking hell can't believ I'm being chastised for holding an opinion that a lot held yesterday. What's changed? Of course we could win it, but its highly unlikely.

  8. Speak for yourself This competition means a lot to me and to plenty of other Newcastle fans, not least the 2,400 who went to Plymouth yesterday Perhaps I'll rephrase, we don't need this competition this year, if we were in midtable in the Prem I would think differently.
  9. How so? We don't need the distraction, league is priority, we don't have the squad to cope with the injuries we'll obviously pick up.
  10. Don't care who we get. This competition means fuck all to us.
  11. Yeah he's shit that Beckford isn't he. Fucking hell, his eye for goal is 10 x better than that of any of our strikers.
  12. Took me forever to get that. Fukin tosser  Took me even longer.
  13. We'll nick it with a late goal. Not that even listening to what's going on, we just will.
  14. We should definitely give Lua Lua a look in for this game. We desperately need some pace in midfield.
  15. GK Given RB Neville CB Terry CB Ferdinand LB Cole RM Ronaldo CM Viera CM Lampard LM Giggs CF Shearer CF Henry
  16. Every time I've seen Madrid he's been w***, but fair enough I am biased towards Shearer, always will be. And against Ronaldo it depends whether you're talking about Shearer in his prime as well, because for Blackburn and for us in his early years when he wasn't injured, its very close. Similar players in their prime. Be honest, you've seen RVN play 3 times for Madrid. He's been absolutely brilliant for them, he's just past his best and never going to get in before Higuain and Benzema. I haven't seen him loads, but I've seen him more than 3 times. He's not the same player he was at Man U, yes that is because he's past his best, and has suffered with injuries. 46 in 68 isn't bad at all though.

  18. Think it was in 2000, I may be wrong but if it is then Scholes v Bradford City.
