If Geremi left that would free up enough wages for at least two good players as starters/cover whereas paying him £60k a week for nothing(when he wont be away for Cameroon) is plain madness if a chance game to get rid.... Don't really want to see anyone leave, not even Geremi. If we keep Simpson and Harewood and bring in Kilgallon then we will have good depth for this level.

Unsure. I'd extend his loan till the end of the season, but beyond that I'm not 100% I wouldn't be against it, he's a good defender, just feel he's a bit shit going forward unlike Jose on the other side.

Just got back, great result and great atmosphere. First half we were poor tbh, sloppy but we took our chance. Second half we were miles better, had a perfect view of the 2nd goal, that cross had goal written all over it from the moment it left Guthrie's boot, top class. We rode our luck at times and had a few 'home' decisions but in the end you make your own luck. Boro are ok in midfield but shocking up front and at the back. Match ratings: Harper 6 - Didn't have much to do, but did well to stop them going level even if he was slighlty aided by Taylor Simpson 5 - Poor first half, a bit better second half, may have been better off playing Ryan Taylor. Taylor 8 - Mopped up everything, is becoming a real leader at the back. Coloccini 8 - Absolutely class, he's so far above this level its unbelievable :colo: Enrique 8 - No one gets past him and going forward he's a gem, only 1 bad delivery all game, a class above. Guthrie 7 - Poor first half, miles better second half, really went at them and what a fucking cross that was. Smith 6 - Went in for everything, shame he came off, hope its nothing serious. Nolan 6 - Very quiet today, did win a lot of headers and link up play was very good at times. Jonas 7 - One of his better games, caused them all sorts of problems and really got in their heads. He even put a good ball in the box for once. Harewood 6 - Couldn't really miss to score our 1st, was quiet apart from that. Ameobi 7 - Great hold up play, and took his goal really well. Subs Butt 6 - Actually thought he played well, got stuck in and showed really good vision at times. Ranger 6 - Full of running, really helped us close out the game, could have got a goal. Pancrate 5 - Wasn't really on long enough to judge his performance.

Snowed earlier here in Yorkshire, has stopped now. If its stopped in Newcastle I reckon it'll be on, fucking better be as I'm getting up at half 7 to be in Newcastle for 11.

Forgetting the fact that Harewood scored 2 goals in the last game he started, against an oppositition in a similar position to Boro. Also scored coming off the bench against Barnsley, he's in good form, but I think we should get at them early. So I think 4-4-2 with Lov and Ameobi is the best way to do it.

I'd go Lovenkrands and Ameobi. Harewood and Ranger seem to do well coming off the bench.

Anybody know which part of the club I contact to get kids' birthdays read out at half time? We're taking my younger brothers (twins) who turn 11 on Wednesday to the Boro game and thought it would be nice if they had there birthday read out as an extra treat.

Just got in, brilliant atmosphere our fans were fantastic. As for the game, we settled down and the early goal helped us. Second Half they came out of the blocks fast and deserved a goal , our goal came out of nowhere as we were poor second half, just as it looked like we were play the game out we somehow manage to let them score from a nothing throw in. So I'm disappointed but I guess I'll take a point. Jonas was fucking shocking like.
