  1. Yeah, I agree with that. Looking at some teams, even a few of the top end teams rely on a target man to win things in the air. There aren't many "crafty" forwards in this league (someone with a similar style to Viduka, but obviously not as good), the likes of Derby, Preston, Sheff United, Leicester, Palace and a few of the other top half teams all rely upon big target men as their Plan A.
  2. How to con a penalty <=== CLICK THERE I remember Chopra winning a couple of very dodgy penalties for us, two in two successive home games iirc. He's got a touch of the Andy Johnson about him, the cheating mackem f***. I remember Chopra winning a dubious penalty against Wigan at home during 05-06. You're probably thinking of the shove on Bowyer during the home game right before that, which also was won us a penalty Nope I'm thinking of the one the game after Wigan, West Brom, which Shola tucked away as it came after Shearer's knee went at the SOS. Howay Ronaldo get your facts right man. Aye, howay Ronaldo, you're fast becoming the forum embarrasment too late
  3. Did think about it, but don't want to risk knacking myself before the run the next day (especially seeings as I've got almost £50 worth of bets with various people on the race). I'll look into it next time I'm up though. Ah yeah, good point actually.
  4. If you're taking the family up before the Plymouth game Mowen, you can come play for NOFC that morning...

    Chris Hughton

This. I know a lad who supports West Brom and he reckons Di Matteo has looked clueless thus far and has been lucky a lot. Sheffield United have done alright so far and so have Preston. Hope you're wrong obviously.
  6. They don't stand a chance if they're playing the Germans in the final, every German woman I've ever seen is built like a shotputter
  7. Almost all of the teams follow the standard Pulis model - nine big cloggers and two flair players. It's a much more physical league than the PL and the reffing is a bit more lax. It's fucking shit compared to the Premiership standard.
  8. Yeah, that's why I likened it to 'goals and gaffes'.
  9. Women playing football? It's a bit like watching Danny Baker's Goals and Gaffes.
  10. And several managers (including Shearer I think) have said that Shola is immense in training. It just proves that the ability shown in training isn't everything

    Ahahahahaha that girl.
  12. They kept saying that in the papers about Phil and Kate off the apprentice. "romp" That's reminded me of something btw: I remember after the scandal that Ashley Cole was cheating on Cheryl, in a game at Fratton Park for Chelsea, the MOTD commentator said after Cole's every touch was booed - "Well, that's what you can expect when you're playing away from home." Was utterly brilliant.

Harper looks like he's in his forties
  15. Another one is "he just didn't get enough purchase on it"
  16. I broke my tibia and fibula when I was 8. After 8 weeks in a wheelchair and a bit of rehab, I've not had a problem since... Just wait till I get onto the Millwall lot for an NOFC fixture...
  17. By my count, it's been over 20 minutes since he posted that. Dave clearly losing his touch

    He needs some Koreas advice
  20. Whichever one Decky supports, I hope they lose
  21. Why is he considered to be a fullback? He has the attributes of a winger imo, I'm sure Paul Hart even played him there in a few games last season.
