  1. Really, he's not a fullback you say Clive? That's only the fourth fucking time in 13 minutes you've told us that.
  2. Watch Lennon's hands when he runs with the ball, mince-tastic.
  3. Clearest pen you'll ever see.
  4. Was quoting what Slaven Bilic had said wasn't he? I thought so too, but lets not get in the way of some fantastic Clive bashing. Carry on, Wullie.
  5. Sing Wayne you disrespecting little twat. Have a shave while you're at it.
  6. What is that based on? In 19 seasons on professional football he has scored double figures 4 times, only one of those in the past NINE years. Well past it these days tbh He's probably pompey's best striker tbh. Which is the reason that I, and many others, have tipped them to really struggle this year.
  7. A little bit imo. As much as I hate the wankfest against Rooney from any media outlet at all, he's been scoring for fun (okay, not in midweek) at international level of late.
  8. I guess we'll see about Piq then. Kanu could maybe do a job as a substitute this year. Thing is, Utaka, Tommy Smith and Danny Webber are not Premiership standard strikers, all of them are dump. I couldn't say whether I think they'll stay up or not, but as things stand I think it'll be close, they'll be bottom five without a doubt. Just remains to be seen whether they're the right side of the line after the final whistle of the season.
  9. Good, that's a good decision from Capello. Heskey always has a very good game (without scoring, usually) and Defoe is currently doing well as a substitute. Why change that? SWP was shit the other night and Lennon looked far better, I think Lennon with Beckham as sub is a good choice for our right side. Just a shame the bloke who plays behind him can't defend one bit.
  10. Frederic Piquionne, Kanu, Tommy Smith, Danny Webber and John Utaka. Goals galore at Fratton Park this season! Kanu is class and will help them stay up. Piquonne is decent and will socre some. Utaka I don't get. Sometimes he looks very quick, other times he run likes he pregnant. I'm not saying Kanu's rubbish as such, just he'll be on a pension in a few years, his legs are shot. Piquonne has looked shite thus far, and Utaka IS shite, trust me.

    Shola Ameobi

Hughton and Shola double act of awards would be amazing
  13. 3-0 win. Rooney, Plumpard penalty and an own goal.
  14. Of course, he could be the wanker from Deal or No Deal, and be Noel Edmonds.
  15. No, it was just his brain. A comment like that suggests he had one in the first place.

    Chris Hughton

Wrong. We'd probably see him benched in favour of playing with ten men.
  17. How to con a penalty <=== CLICK THERE A bitter Jack. All i can say is that if any team in the Championship cheats look at the puberty stadium. Last season Mr Gomez got numerous players booked with his pathetic antics. Scotland was pretty good at falling over too. Those 2 have left and your rotting at the lower end of the league where you belong. Get over the fact that Cardiff are a bigger and better club. Next you'll be saying Sunderland are bigger than Newcastle. Swansea will always be behind Cardiff in the same way that Sunderland will always be lesser than Newcastle. Swansea is a smack ravaged flea pit concrete jungle. Cardiff is a cosmopolitan City with a rich array of culture and history. Swansea's only pride is their hatred of Cardiff. In the same way Mackem land is a smack ravaged flea pit concrete jungle. Newcastle is a cosmopolitan City with a rich array of culture and history. Sunderland's only pride is their hatred of Newcastle. Not sure if a Swansea Cardiff slanging match is really needed on this board. I just find it a pity that fans cannot get along together, rivelry is one thing but the other stuff is not really needed. Some of the 'older' supporters remember the days when people would alternate between cardiff and Swansea, depending which was at home. They supported one of the teams but did not mind going to support the other side when their team was away. More profit to to both teams so made sense. The comment I made about penalties was because Cardiff get more than their fair share and Newcastle are playing Cardiff, if Newcastle was playing Palace (for example) and they had that reputation, I would have mentioned that as well in that games thread. Give over man. Its the whole part of the game, people hating their rivals with a passion. Within reason. I don't agree with the Mackems calling us "Scum". They call us the same man. That's what I said, I don't agree with them calling us scum. Did you get your Mac replaced? You know what I meant, we call them the same. Are you taking knee pads for the bus to Cardiff?

Who? Max Johnson the goalkeeper, isn't it?

    Chris Hughton

Not to do with whether he plays, but whether Butt's inclusion helps us get a win. If we win the game, then Hughton's inclusion of Butt is justified. If not, then Hughton looks bad. Basically what Big TRon said further up the page.

I hope so or is he away on international duty ? .com: There's no sign of Haris Vuckic, presumably a precaution ahead of Sunday's first team game, given that Nile Ranger is off with England and there are fitness question marks over both Andy Carroll and Peter Lovenkrands (plus we can't find any Slovenian callup for Vuckic).
