  1. I would define it as being: 1) Not getting sent off for stupid 'beef' challenges (for example, see Emre vs John Eustace in Keegan's homecoming) 2) Having the ability to pick a pass that a spectator may not have spotted, or to read his team-mates run or idea and link up with them.
  2. Brunt is such a shit plodder, and he's scored against Arsenal excellent stuff.
  3. Mackems to score first, Liverpool to win - £5 wins £65
  4. My thoughts on this thread, and HTT, in pictures. http://www.thespoof.com/sitepics/pdi/271206-4134FakePoo.jpg http://www.freefoto.com/images/11/29/11_29_16---Rubbish-Skip_web.jpg http://www.summersdale.com/images/A-Load-of-bollocks.jpg http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m5/Doc89/NICETHREAD.jpg http://pro.corbis.com/images/42-17713333.jpg?size=67&uid=%7BC4E10163-F359-4B44-B4A6-937BA6C4C7F4%7D

Well judging by looking at Ashley's face towards the end of the Bolton match his expression told me "Fuck me i've made a right fucking mess of this club" Probably just annoyed because the half time pies were stinkin Untrue, the north-west (Bolton and Wigan mainly) is clearly the pie capital of the country They can't be any worse than the fucking atomic ones at SJP anyway

If there was one more I was fairly sure of I'd have us at a 3 or something. It's the doubt that Middlesbrough, Stoke or Blackburn could start getting results that has me at a 6.
  7. Changed my mind: Harper R.Taylor Bassong Coloccini Enrique S.Taylor Jonas Smith Lovenkrands Martins Viduka ?

Moved mine from a five to a six, mainly because of our run-in. I'm banking on West Brom and Hull finishing below us, really.
  9. Baheng came off the bench as well and scored on his injury comeback.
  10. That would mean having to play Shola though. At the moment, I'd rather play Smith CM to allow for Löven up front with Oba. Against Man United we can play: Harper S.Taylor Colo Bassong Enrique Jonas R.Taylor Smith Geremi Lovenkrands Martins flood the midfield
  11. If anything we should have made him earn his contract if he performed well to the season end - and even then it should have been a 1 year contract. That way he's playing for his future. In those first few games under Kinnear he was decent, then we offer him a 3-year contract. That way we won't see any effort until 2 and a half years down the line, when he realises he needs another one. By that point, John Sitton or Dave Bassett or whoever's picking the team can offer him another one after a few more passable, lukewarm shifts. He just ambles up and down the pitch, he knows there's some sort of divine intervention keeping him at the club. Please, Roeder, find a new club, hurry the fuck up, and buy him.
  12. Ryan Taylor and Geremi in the centre, Jonas on the right and Lovenkrands on the left. I know it's shit but it's all we can do.

    Obafemi Martins

If he starts tomorrow, he'll score.
  14. Decent coaching goes a long way. Defending isn't about talent, it's about coaching, discipline and organisation, without that talent is useless. Titus had the ability, but none of the rest, now he's getting it, it's no wonder you never see him having the piss ripped out of him on MOTD or whatever. Why did Andy O'Brien look like a kingpin at times under Bobby and Titus always looked like he was going to f*** up every two minutes? Whilst i agree that Bruce's faith in Bramble will have helped him, the main reason why he's performing much better is because he hasn't got 50,000 people on his back. Andy O'Brien never looked like a kingpin under Bobby tbh Yes he did.
  15. Aye, I'll be down to Wembley as well, that would be quality if they get there. I went to a few earlier this season, thats the biggest crowd I've seen in a while as well.
  16. He was shite, that half-Colo hairdo bloke. Utterly rotten, although most of the Biggleswade team were. Did you hear those blokes in the stands shouting "Hey, canny pair of barnets coming on for them here!" And also, that bloke with the bleach blonde hairdo Brylcreemed and combed to his ears, then shaved off totally, with the gold ear-ring? He came past totally off his tits screaming "THERES ONLY ONE IAN CHANDLER, WE LOVE YOU IAN!" :laughterisnotargumentation:
  17. That meeting I heard on the radio was almost entirely anti-Ashley, it was all about getting him out etc. No-one wanted him to stay, or even no-one said they weren't bothered and just wanted the best for the club.
  18. I was there! Was well over 1000 fans there, excellent turnout and great result as well. Did you notice an over-weight James Troisi lookalike come on at half time?
  19. Swansea Watford Wolves Aberdeen Celtic Dundee Utd all to win at home - £3 bet pays £92.50.
  20. well, if you aren't dumb enough to recognise Ashley is the wrong man for the club and taking it downwards like Sheffield Wednesday, then there is nowt wrong with that. There is wrong with it... there should be an alternative offered, to people like me who just want the best for the club, be it under Ashley or under someone else. And also, how can you say there is nowt wrong with the "Newcastle United Supporters Club" being against Mike Ashley as primary objective and looking out for the interests of the Club as secondary? It baffles belief.
  21. The NUSC is an anti-Ashley organization before it is a pro-Newcastle United organization.
