By his own standards I think he's been pretty good tbh. Working hard(!), an option for lofted balls and occupying their centre halves giving Remy space to work in. he's had a decent half tbh. His touch has actually been canny for a change. Was unfortunate on that disallowed goal, just a fraction too early otherwise it would have been glorious.

That first half was uninspiring and garbage in the main, but in fairness his plan worked well - keep it tight, remain in the game, and then step it up in the final half an hour. It won't always work like that and Chelsea were poor, but we defended well and I think we could have been looking at 3-0 if it was Sammy instead of Obertan who came on near the end. Well done for today, doesn't excuse last Sunday but it's the first baby step towards putting it right.
