Not at all, I think it gives a nice backdoor for some sides into Europe without all the faff of involving League 1 and 2 sides that aren't going to make it there anyway. Plus, with only 44 teams involved, it's not like it would take very long, is it?

I think instead of the League Cup there should just be a secondary cup for Premier League and Championship teams - in the same way that the JPT is for the League 1 and League 2 sides.
