Well, that's me convinced. Pardew out!

"We need to upgrade the manager eventually" He's been in the job just over a year. You have been saying we should bin him at the end of the season, so after a year and a half? A year and a half in which we've had a large player turnover and he's improved league position substantially (barring a huge uncharacteristic slump in the remaining fixtures ofc)?
-
I think you're getting mixed up with that other saying, 'you can't please HTT. Ever.'
-
Yeah, if he was wrong about that then he must automatically be wrong about everything else ever.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17052352#asset Has a header saved in the first half. The pen he concedes
-
Willo Flood's let himself go.
-
He should be starting the game at right-back.
-
Ryan Taylor and Ben Arfa should be starting the game. Simpson has been shit for ages and we could do with Ryan Taylor's delivery (and set-pieces) from full-back.
-
Yeah, me too. Been such a massive decline in Arsenal's play and their results in the last 5 or 6 years, and it doesn't look like stopping soon.
-
Ah yeah, shit. Scored the last goal for NUFC, anyway.
-
Scored the last goal in the previous two fixtures, might be worth a punt again for that.
-
It'll be because the Wolves chairman has been quoted as saying something about him. And it was me who suggested it - and got laughed at by Pilko Fucking hell, I never laughed at you I merely pointed out that Curbishley's been in the mixer for nearly every single job going since he left West Ham, and hasn't been appointed by anyone. If you're right then fair enough, it's about time he actually got a management post.
-
Demba Ba's areet but let's compare him to Jimmy Greaves. He's shit.
-
I'd like to see Krul; Ryan Taylor, Coloccini, Williamson, Santon; Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Tiote, Gutierrez; Ba, Cisse.
-
I think Curbishley is the only one who might stand a chance of keeping them up, out of that shortlist.
-
If Guthrie's going to leave then I'd say he'd be an excellent signing.
-
Fortunately for us, shit player syndrome also applies.
-
He's the 3rd-5th favourite for every fucking PL/CL job going outside of the teams in Europe for Christ's sake
-
Not too sure what the departure of Mad Mick will do. Depends who they appoint, obviously - hopefully still a caretaker manager.
-
We've not been out of the top seven all season. We were a Championship side two years ago. Kindly go and boil your head.

Cheese-eating surrender Squidward.

You don't lose extra points in the table for conceding more than 4, unless they introduced that rule and I missed it. No, but our GD is lots worse than the other teams we're currently competing with. Come the end of the season, the matches where we've not just been beaten but capitulated may cost us. And as Wullie pointed out, every team other than Man City has been royally fucked once this season. We've not lost any other games by a margin like this. It's only cause for concern if it happens frequently imo. The Fulham game, alright. The Chelsea (h) game was incredibly unfortunate (hit woodwork, 2 key injuries, shit refereeing decision) and I'm choosing not to count that. Today. I can't really recall anymore 'tonkings'. Conceding seven goals to Norwich and West Brom (the latter being at home) didn't help. We just seem to collapse at times, our confidence seems brittle. The Norwich game was the morning after the night before re: the Chelsea game. Four full-backs in defence, hands were tied somewhat. Agree about the WBA game though.

The defence as a whole was all over the place today, Simpson and Colo being particularly bad. You pick him out even when he's played alright like, agenda-tastic. The defence as a whole was shit, yes. I deem Simpson to be (marginally) the worst of a bad bunch today.
