so the line on radio 5 from referees is that the ref thought goufran was offside and in Harts way. An excuse that had to be worked out to fit the circumstances imo. The truth is the Ref was simply influenced into changing his mind by the Man City players. This would not have happend against one of the none mega rich clubs. I could accept, all be it with loads on moaning, a referees mistake. but this was something else- a ref favouring a big side.

I think his studs were possibly in the ground when he got a good f***ing kicking. Be a pretty hard kick to damage ligaments. didnt his leg twist when kicked while his foot was planted in the ground? not sure tbh, but thats what I thought I saw and can explaing that injury- leg in ground via studs, gets kicked, kicked leg twists, knee ligaments get injured.

I really can't see why Pardew's tactical nous could be called into question. He's a very tactical coach and has proven in some of the tightest situations against world class teams and coaches that he can mix it with the best. If I levelled anything against him it would be that he can be "over tactical" and I'd like to see a bit of the old Keegan "just go out and do the opposition" mind set from time to time. This season Pardew has done very well against the top sides (and managers), we ultimately lost at home to Man City and Arsenal but were well worth at least a point in both games, we deserved our home win against Chelsea and our away win at Old Trafford, and the home draw with Liverpool too. I haven't came away from any of those games dissapointed with the way we've set up and played (not to say I full agree with everything like), although some of the decision making mid game has been questionable. That's all good, but "Pardew has shown he is more than a match for the very best managers tactically" is the single thickest thing I think I've read this season How anybody can defend that with a straight face is beyond me, it's just complete shite. well, in fairness taking investment into account he has probably surpassed them in terms of the results and performances/ value for money. just saying like.

Just an utter disgrace that never gets any more understandable at each viewing.

I don't know. It happened, though, didn't it? My brain doesn't believe my eyes. I think he'd lost the plot by then tbh. There could have been reds all over the place in the second half. I was just wincing at ours. We'd have to be playing the juniors at the weekend. Total horrorshow. I shook my head so much today i think ive strained my neck.

aye, seasons awa tbh. might as well try owt. give him a go- 6 starts straight off. see if he can deliver.
-
He's greedy because there was an unmarked NUFC player on the edge of the penalty area and he chose to try the 'Hollywood' ball rather than pass. does this sort of thing far too many times in terms of % of choice he makes. A bit harsh to have a go at him today tbh, but same probs, just for a shorter time on the pitch.

but what if, nah actually fuck it.

looks like the ref asked the linesman for any excuse to dissallow the goal- its so obviously corrupt its laughable.
-
I didn't think it was that bad tbh I didnt at first and thought that he was milking it. But after seeing the replay the second swipe at him from mapou was nasty like. Nasri is a bellend though so it's fine. In fairness i think, 3 game ending injuries= a legal goal dissallowed.
-
cant get my head around this at all. as I think the goal was dissallowed by the ref for something the linesman couldnt see from his position, but was only dissallowed after he spoke to him? cant work it out at all.
-
looked like the ref lost grip on the game from his own ridiculous descision, often happens that the tackles fly when the ref has proven himself incapable

2nd best side at sjp today tbh.

we were the better side from thier first goal. Ref allowed the Man city players to talk him out of giving the goal. what an absolute disgrace. cheating cunts.
