nee chance of that- but theres something like 2 million facebook followers, so if you could get them involved the amounts drops massively. Still no chance tho- many fans in the ground are content with nothing.

West ham/Arsenal- any club that has ambition to play in Europe, and is willing to fund it, he is a viable candidate- probs what Ashley wants tbh, now Rafa stood up to him, he is a Bully who can not tolerate people standing up to him.

If Ashley wanted rid of Rafa because he's popular, then why not get rid after promotion when talks were held to persuade Rafa to stay? He could, in theory, have parted ways with Rafa and brought in a puppet with barely a murmur of discontent (most of us would have considered it a real possibility that Rafa would leave after what happened in January). Could have put out news stories about Rafa wanting to move on or wanting different challenges compared to what NUFC can offer to placate fans. Obviously we don't know if contract clauses would have affected those discussions, though if Rafa was unhappy with the discussions what other option would he have had other than to leave? And whilst I imagine Rafa allegedly communicating his unhappiness with the transfer situation through the media during the summer may have irked Ashley, Rafa did the same in January, so it's nothing new. Nothing makes sense with Ashley. There's many possibilities, but one of them that I won't rule out just yet is that this is all to do with not wanting to spend until the money is actually received and banked. Wishful thinking probably, but it's still a possibility. I disagree, Ashley will still want rid of Rafa. Not because he's being forced to spend more money than he'd like, that clearly hasn't happened, it might as well have been Pardew asking for more players. But because Rafa is not the type to take it lying down. Ashley was blatantly stung by the veiled criticism of the running of the club, and that led to his propaganda video on Sky. I reckon he'd be delighted if West Ham came in and bought up Rafa's contract. He'd much prefer going back to a yes man who would fall in line with less trouble. yep- Pardew- his dream ticket.

do we make £0 for every £1 sold- as he routes it all through sports direct?
-
said when he came he was an ambition blocker.
-
hes just taking the absolute piss, and people are letting him. doubt he cares what Div we are in, he will simply make sure he takes more than he puts in at whatever level.

With no left back and 1 striker. Ok. Mbemba will do. Rafa play one striker. That's the spirit. It's not the spirit, it's life. Trust me, I am angry as fuck, but I am just looking forward to the matches again. This is life under fatty. thats exactly what he needs to see to keep it going forever

Right back in the pocket

Don't like the sound of that. I know, what kind of a mad cunt starts a meeting at 4pm. somebody who doesnt want anything meaningful achieved.
-
Nothing to spend Rafa. Ok see ya.
-
loads of match goers think he does a great job.
-
he was great last season in the championship. slide rule passes, into forwards feet. sprayed long balls on a sixpence from deep. and those slick almost vaseline like tackles to keep possession. all the free kicks he won us on the edge of the opponents box to put us them in trouble.
-
Not one of them can have watched him. "Strong", " good on the ball", "hardman". Poor, poor b******s It's the "good at keeping possession" and "helps to maintain team shape" that got me Oh and they hope he can play LWB Sorry lads but he doesn't cross the halfway line or pass forwards. for fucks sake shut up man before somebody from Wolves FC sees all this.

if we do get £16m + I think we will try and fail to get one of Rafas main targets, but manage to get someone in on loan. the 16m will disappear by January.
-
I was told last week this was the logjam thats the issue in the club.
-
He may have been offered a better deal at a championship club, that wont expect him to do as much chasing against Prem quality defenders, and add to his hamstringophobia
-
Annoying because it wouldnt happen if it was the other way around.
-
Coincidentally if Rafa is forced out, only an embarrassingly rapid drop through the leagues might possibly be enough for these people who are happy with Ashleys NUFC to turn on him and for the fans to unite in opposition. Possibly. Ive spoken to customers at work who I know are match goers. from a POV of knowledge gained from this forum, and in almost all cases they have been totally oblivious- just blank expressions.

would they even be in training on a bank holiday at the start of an international break?

If you look at the teams that dominate games, their strikers are a vital part of that. Joselu is a major reason we dominated against West Ham for example think if you are playing 1 up front you are better having somebody who can play with their back to goal- hold it up lay it off etc. Gayle is more a chasing longer balls type player.

only sell if he has an option he thinks is better available
-
We would have to buy someone instantly but remember Ashley n co usually sell a player right at the dead as they prefer money in the bank to assets on the pitch. and then that money is just forgotten at the next window.
