    Have you renewed?

I've only posted mine earlier on (due to trying to sort a credit card out) so it won't get there until Monday now. They'd best not be tight and try and charge me the increased prices due to missing the deadline by one day.
  2. No problem. Not in any rush for names as yet, still plenty of time to go before the game.
  3. It's all going to depend on how many people are on the coach to be honest. Once we have a clearer indication on how many are going to Valencia/Bolton, I'll be able to sort it then. Ok I am 90% for Valencia, provided I can get tickets there should be my housemate coming. Good stuff. I'm hoping once we announce the route and pick ups, a few more people will put their names forward. It will be a real shame if we cannot make it viable.
  4. I'd like to if I'm honest. I'm hoping to get to the majority of away games next season but it may be difficult for everyone to get tickets to be able to run a coach. I was thinking of leaving away games for this season and think about using the coach for away games the following season. As it stands, it's looking hard enough to get numbers for home games so away games will be on the back of my mind for the time being. Fair enough mate, i guess when the bus is just starting up is easier to concentrate on home games first and foremost! Can't wait for the season to start now like, me and me uncle usually have a good laugh on the way up but going to be awesome on a coach! Am sure there will be more people getting on for the Bolton game like, really hope it catches on properly! Me too. I think it will be brilliant if we can get it up and running. At this minute, it's in the balance unfortunately. I'm confident it can happen, but we need the numbers and I'm running out of ways to spread the word. Hopefully after the first few trips, everyone will really enjoy it and pass the word on that way. If people hear that it has been successful, they may want to sample it for themselves. Once we've chosen the route and pick up points on Sunday I'll post it on here. If there are any issues with the route or pick up points, we will amend it and then a final route and pick up points will be confirmed that will not change unless something drastic happens to result in it needing to be changed. I'll then start taking names for the Bolton game. Im thinking that a few people will wait till maybe October, to see if the coach has caught on like to sign up for it. Just so they know its worhtwhile and that, and like you said, if the coach makes a succesful first few home games, im sure the word will spread and more people will follow. I wouldnt mind paying a little extra to start with in the hope it does catch on like, sure other people, at first wouldnt mind either. Was gonna say tho, is there ay chance, if we cant get the numbers, of the driver being able to aquire a minibus for it? Obviously this is last chance scenario, but it could be a good idea if we're having trouble filling the coach or something! Hopefully it won't come to that, but I have thought about it. I rang him today to see if he could maybe sort a 30 seater out but the company he works for only does 49 and 51 seaters. I think at first it may be a little more expensive, but like you've said, I won't mind paying the extra either to be honest. At the end of the day, it will still be a hell of a lot cheaper than driving, and more enjoyable too. I think you're also right about people maybe waiting to see how it goes before deciding if they want to come on the coach for themselves. Another point is the lads who are coming to Hull Uni; they might not be getting down here until late August or early September. Term starts September 28th I think, so it'll be late September at best for the students. Ah, not great then.

  8. Cental Leeds would be top, down by the train station? Or even near the cricket ground? We have a fair few options of pick up points for Leeds, it's just deciding which is best; somewhere that allows us to get away fairly quickly without adding too much time onto the journey and avoiding the traffic black spots.

  10. Yet another midfielder. How many do they want?
  11. Also sent emails off to a few people at Yorkshire Mags and nufc.com. I await their replies...
  12. Little update: We're sorting the route out on Sunday and confirming the pick up points. If you want to put forward a pick up point (within reason ) then do so in this thread so I can try and ensure everyone is happy. Probable pick up points with the option to add a couple more: Set off point somewhere in Hull Humber Bridge Ferrybridge Leeds Dave's house
  13. Provisional Valencia (9th Aug) List: Ash Graham Josh Gaz SpinS Fatwax Rey Mysterio Woooo!
  14. Looks like we'll find out sooner rather than later. With the Valencia friendly being announced, I think this is gonna be the best game to test the bus out. Likely to be the most attractive opposition we face so this will hopefully encourage more people to attend. Valencia - Saturday 9th August 2008 Who's provisionally interested?
  15. Greg sent me in their direction a while ago. I sent an email off to them but heard nothing back. Definitely worth badgering them about it, looking at their website it seems ideal for both parties. Aye, think it's worth another go. Will sort that out later on too.
  16. Will get onto that later on. Cheers guys.

  18. Like I said in my opening post, they're two of the main reasons I wanted to start the coach. I also hoped that with everyone saving money on travel costs, it would mean more people can make it to more games than they'd probably usually attend. I really hope it can take off. Up to now, I cannot see a problem. The time when we'll really see if it's going to work is when it comes to gathering enough numbers for each game which is my only worry at the minute. Just plug it as much as you can mate, worth sending round all Toon forums and maybe even contact nufc.com & true-faith.co.uk n all, not sure what they'd be able to do but is worth trying. That's what I've been doing and it's worked quite well so far. I'm hoping to get an advert placed in the Hull Daily Mail which would be brilliant. I'll contact nufc.com later on today I think. What other forums would you suggest?

  20. It may be difficult as it will add a fair bit of time onto the journey but we'll look into it anyway. This is why we need to get suggestions down now so that the route can be sorted to try and please as many people as possible.
  21. Took just over a week for the whole lot including pin to come through. My problem at the minute is getting them to send out a Direct Debit mandate, they keep sending the letter saying enclosed is the mandate but there isn't anything but a pre paid envelope there. I might start sending them the pre paid envelopes back So I have pretty much no chance of sorting one before Sunday then?
  22. Anybody decided to use this option to pay for their season ticket? Seriously considering it myself. Just wondering though, how long is it gonna take for the card to come through?
  23. I think you're looking forward to it more than I am! Yep, plan on doing that. Things will really start rolling over the next month.
