    Remy Cabella

Airport pics? Oh no, the 4-year decline begins here. Bet he can't wait for the '10 meals a day' phase.
  2. Messi's already there, in my opinion. I'm too young to remember Pele and Maradona, of course, but Messi isn't even human. Not only is he amazing but he's consistent at it, as his stats show. He's been at the top for a while.

    Loïc Remy

Spurs are meant to be after Lukaku too so, until they can shift Adebayor or Soldado, can't really go for Remy. It's worth going back in for the cunt, although I assume Everton would want him too.
  4. So are we expecting Brazil and Holland to rotate their squad, or Brazil to go full strength for pride? Then again, who knows what full strength from that lot is! Van Gaal hates the 3rd place playoff, so maybe I'll put the likes of Depay, Clasie and Krul in.
  5. Maybe it took him less points out to put those into his team than it took you, in terms of players coming off? It was 5 points after putting Holland v Argentina players in, both captained Javier 'The Masher' Mascherano too. Oh well, its still really close.
  6. It's obvious to say Germany will win the Final but I'm not so sure. They were amazing against Brazil and, scarily, were clearly holding back. They could've went up another gear or two if needed. But most teams wouldn't melt down like Brazil did in those 6 minutes, even Brazil mightn't have if Thiago Silva played. Germany have been the most impressive team so far, but it's not guaranteed that they'll just stroll past the Argies and roll in 5 more. Argentina's defence is actually quite good, plus Germany's high defensive line is much riskier against Messi, Di Maria & Aguero than against Fred. Also, if Germany choose to play their own game and treat Messi like a normal player, it could easily backfire. I'm really excited for the game, I think the best 2 teams have made the Final and it's tough to call. There's something amazing about Messi dragging Argentina to glory in the Maracana.
  7. I'm really confused. Going into today I was 5 points behind my brother and we had the same 5 playing tonight - plus I had Robben too. Same captain, so I was guaranteed to better him. Yet the gap has increased and it all adds up properly. I don't get it
  8. The day of his life. We've all waited a while for this one. I wonder if the Germans will gang up in him like everyone else has, or whether they have the confidence to just win their own way.
  9. Argentina looking good, even if very little has happened. Still worried, though.
  10. De Jong I really want Argentina to win but have a strong feeling that they won't. Van Gaal will find a way of dealing with Messi - hatchet job by De Jong.
  11. I'd like to think that anything below 10th would see him sacked because Ashley publicly sets targets - no way will "finish lower than last season" be one. If the position goes backwards after (hopefully) splashing the cash, Ashley will be livid. There's no Europa League excuse this time, it'll be cut and dry. But this is probably blind, naive optimism
  12. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/06/08/magazine/world-cup-curse-of-maracana.html?smid=tw-nytimes This is cool. It has animation and sound too....
  13. If we signed Cabella and Janmaat/Aurier I'd be pleased, actually - not that I'm advocating our 'selling club' status. Add 2 strikers to that and it's been alright. A centre-back would be nice but I'd rather keep Yanga-Mbiwa. Still a long way to go, though.
  14. Mesut Ozil sets one up but fails to sparkle like Andre Schurrle and Co as Germany destroy hosts Brazil 7-1 in World Cup semi-final - Ozil contributes assist for Germany's fifth goal scored by Sami Khedira - Apart from that Arsenal's £42.5million record signing was quiet - Was not really needed but still looks short of his dazzling best - Germany beat hosts Brazil 7-1 in Belo Horizonte to reach World Cup final - Paul Breitner had called for Ozil to be dropped for semi-final - He missed an easy one-one in the 90th-minute as well - Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said 'Ozil is not comfortable in front of goal' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/worldcup2014/article-2685192/Mesut-Ozil-barely-registers-important-kick-Germany-destroy-hosts-Brazil-7-1-World-Cup-semi-final.html
  15. Cashing out on Messi now returns £31.36 - put that all on 'Muller top scorer' and it pays £117.60. Tempting...
  16. Cillessen, Blind and Messi but I've got Robben, Rojo, De Vrij and Mascherano to squeeze in.
  17. We've just got to hope there's no Escobar equivalent. Players, fans etc are all in danger - something horrible is surely around the corner.
  18. This is uncomfortable to watch. All the players and fans in tears. I really worry about the fallout to this
  19. The fact that this is keep going both scares and scars me.
  20. Brazil been class this second half. Slightly too late.
