Bearing in mind we're against a side with presumably lots of Spaniards, I reckon Torres and Fabregas should play. D James V Corluka B Hangeland M Upson L Baines A Young M Essien F Fabregas G Barry F Torres W Rooney although the weak spots are baines and barry.

Harper Simpson Williamson Colo Aanholt Guthrie Smith Nolan Routledge Jonas Ameobi Subs: Krul, Hall, R Taylor, Pancrate, Carroll, Lovenkrands, Ranger I bet they cant wait to get us down there. That makes me think we'll crumble. But last time we lost, we followed it with 7 wins, so maybe they react well to defeat? Hughton will go back to what served us well away from home (before last night) and I think we'll draw this. Its a shame because this is an absolute must must mega-must win game. But 2-2. -
Got a small amount on Chelsea, Celtic and for both teams to score in Arsenal-Liverpool. This is just to make up for the last few bad bets.
-
I think after last night, Hughton probably thinks he was justified to opt for 4-5-1 and will probably revert back to it. And tbh, on last nights evidence, that might be the right decision. Pretty or not, it got us results and I don't care how we play as long as we have a 1 or 2 next to our name in May.

tonight wouldve been a lot worse has forest got points. 3-0 looks very flattering to them and it sounded on the radio like there wasnt a lot wrong with our performance. lets just put it down to a bad night and beat swansea (which we really HAVE to do now). last time we lost, it was followed by a 6 game winning streak, so lets hope for a similar reaction.
-
Exactly the same here. When I was doing it I literally thought it was to be like 110points, then when I refreshed I couldn't believe it. I only put like 2 losses and they were just bizarre ones. I was going through the games though and was just thinking like, we won't get beat by anyone. We're just too damn good! Yeah I only had us to lose 3 more and thought it was fair. Unfortunately Forest and WBA both finished on 100 for me.

Ranger not even on the bench?!?!?!

Following on from earlier, Euro 96 really kicked it all off for me. Wasn't aware at all of the 95-96 disaster. And I remember that when Dad told me Keegan had resigned (the first time), I ran home from school crying

I discovered football on my own. My parents weren't into it and they certainly never mentioned it. One day I stumbled across (i think) Sunderland vs Stoke on itv and it may have finished 0-0 or 1-0. The match was boring and I wasn't interested. I certainly don't know what appealed to me - maybe i've blanked out a lot of time - but football has been my obsession ever since. Why Newcastle? I think I just sat downstairs and asked which is closer to Chester-le-Street....Newcastle or Sunderland. Mam said they're equal, so I just chose NUFC. Just like that! And despite everything thats happened over the last 15 years, I know I did the right thing and havn't regretted it once Could type for hours now with all the memories, but I won't. But when I settle down and have kids, they'll definitely support the Toon - no debate!

Beckham's attitude has been spot-on as well. Don't underestimate the importance of having his personality and presence around.

In very recent years are. Historically, they are canny massive compared to us. Yeh. I'd say Paris St Germain are more similar (despite their Cup Winners Cup win). And in Germany, Schalke is probably closest. What about Italy?? I can't immediately think of one.
-
This is one mostly for the non-English. NUFC is synonymous with being a big club with a great history and passionate fans. However, with the constant managerial changes, high profile failures and off the pitch scandals, we're one big soap opera! We tend to be the laughing stock of the country.....but the potential is there for something big. Every country must have one. For example, Atletico Madrid are undoubtedly the ‘Spanish NUFC’ So which other clubs are the so called ‘foreign NUFCs’?
-
Its the boring answer, but I'd say Mark Hughes out of all those. We definitely wouldn't get relegated next season with him here, something I can't say about Hughton.
-
When Ashley Cole went forward & left a hole, he was across in a flash to fill it. It is like filling in the hole left by a fullback is 2nd nature to him.
-
Does it really matter what happens in these games though? Chelsea dropped two points against Hull the other day. If Arsenal keep putting away the shit teams they'll be right in there with a chance. when the going gets tough in march/april time, they'll drop points. its a shame because if wenger wasnt so stubborn with his transfer policy, they'd have had a good chance this year.
-
another year without the league for arsenal.
-
the easiest bet in football
-
I chose Beckham, Lennon, Young and Milner......absolutely gutted to leave out Joe Cole though. Capello's gonna have a tough decision to make.
-
England have a tricky group. They're all good teams, but they'll still go through

Howay man, the Forrest game was a derby game - all form and shit goes out the window. so is this one
