They've got a good midfield, but our bench - for this level - is fantastic! Still pessimistic but, just like the other games, once its underway and you see our team, I'm more confident.
1-1 or a scrappy 1-0 home win
I'd say stick with Hughton until the momentum goes. Of course then they'll be accused of being knee-jerk and that every team inevitably hits bad form, but I think its essential that Shearer gets some experience in the Championship. Its a nice position to be in tbh
Some managers throw in little criticisms to motivate/inspire the players to do better.....theres a difference between that and what Phil Brown does. He's a grade A bellend and a truly awful manager. Him and his team are a match made in hull hell
...and his mum went out with bryan robson
EDIT: oh, and I went to the same school as Grant Leadbitter, Steve Howard and Glenn Reay. thats literally all i have.
i was at SJP today and it was a beautiful ceremony. perhaps it dragged towards the end....i was hoping for a few words from Shearer rather than loads of poems, but Lineker and Fergie's speeches were fantastic. in the stadium, there was an idiot swearing his head off at the end as a steward told him to be quiet on the phone. bellend!
we've now gathered a fantastic bunch of strikers. personally i'd go with harewood and carroll with ranger and lovenkrands as impact subs.....but when shola returns we'll be blessed upfront. the squad is starting to get good depth
cracking game and its always good to see shay concede 4 times. but the owen goal makes me sick to my stomach, especially with that phantom injury time. and how many more mistakes does ben foster have to make before he gets dropped?? he's atrocious and he's doing it on purpose. made for a great game though
on a side note, im becoming psychic. against cardiff i predicted coloccini's goal as the cross came in and did the same for fletcher's first. then when bellamy scored i said "definitely 4-3 to man u, right at the death". shame it doesn't work when it comes to betting haha
