  1. she'll know about silverware... knives and forks and that
  2. she really should, not that it would make much difference
  3. popping collars = knob jockey qualification lol
  4. i really like that ajax away one actually
  5. andy cole / john barnes and the cycling shorts and gloves combo
  6. i quite like that design actually, would look better if the boyle sports logo wasn't rubbish though
  7. if we go down, i'd expect that we'd be in and around the play-off places, or just shy of but having gave it a good go
  8. a well established premiership side should be putting up more than a fight against a newly promoted one. also, it'll be interesting in a few seasons, if wigan get into the european places for a couple of seasons, then fail to get in one season, sack their manager, will their fans be delusional for hoping to be in europe?
  9. of course, this is assuming he gets offered the job full time. fingers crossed
  10. we had a policy of buying good young players when sir bobby was here -- woodgate, jenas, bellamy, viana, bramble (sometimes) mixing with the established --- given, solano, speed, shearer. it was when ffs sacked sir bobby that the article's quote became true, more 5 years than 10

    Roy Keane

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2009/apr/23/roy-keane-ipswich-sunderland she's back in love with and forgiven him again, that last paragraph lol
  12. if anything, the thought of spoiling allardyce/phil brown's end of season pint/giggle at us if we go down should be enough incentive
  13. you're probably right, can't imagine the kop singing blaydon races for some reason lol

    Joey Barton

it will be good to see him back, a midfielder who can pass/shoot, shout at team-mates for not pulling their finger out, godspeed joey!
  15. To be honest I'd have rather the 47,000 paying Geordies all just made a magnificent effort week in, week out and we wouldn't need anyone to raise the atmosphere. The apathy shown by a lot of fans is crap. aye, that's true
  16. i'd have rather they tried to rope brian johnson in, if ac-dc weren't playing that night
  17. he's got 8 goals in 10 games since he came back. there's talk of him being recalled to the national team too

    Motley Crew

nah, we're nowt like motley crue, they still score pretty often
  19. i still think after a summers rest, he'll do a job for someone else next season like. he's not been the same player since keegan left, he's just wanted the summer to hurry itself along
  20. cherno signed on a free, from obscurity?
  21. he probably could to be fair, but they signed arshavin, only touched the ball about 4 times against liverpool and scored 4, so i doubt they need an off-form owen
  22. with better finishing we'd have had it wrapped up in the first half but we ran out of steam sadly.
  23. ex player syndrome could help us for a change, if we're not dead and buried by then i can see viduka putting a couple past boro and sending them down
  24. yup i can only really see guthrie being up for it sadly. maybe butt/smith too
  25. duff/smith/viduka/butt all put in a shift last night but we're totally toothless upfront, we could have had it wrapped up by half time if we could finish, or actually try to shoot at the goal. we did seem to rollover when viduka went off like, seemed a bit clueless after that
