Does anyone really buy training wear because they want to be relevant? I've bought a few pieces, but only when I liked it generally and would use it for footy. I'd say money grab if we had another home kit or away kit second half of the season, but training wear I don't have the slightest issue with. Seems a sensible way to boost revenue mid-season.

Not as far as I know. Joelinton got his 5th booking against Leicester, played against Brentford in the cup mid-week, then was suspended against Ipswich because the suspension was for the league. Now I'm assuming that's changed since Pope got sent off in the league and missed the EFL cup final, but this season anyway that's looking like how it works.

Have to hold my hands up. I really thought the wheels had fallen off the wagon a month or two ago, and didn't see how he was going to turn it around. He has, and credit to him. Especially since it appears he's done so by utilising Tonali in a number 6, which is a position he doesn't like to use. So he's adapted, and you have to credit that. I was wrong. I'm glad I was wrong.
