Really worried that we won't be able to replace the chances he created last season. Cabaye is sexy as, but we haven't seen if he can replace Barton like for like in that regard.

Liverpool just went and signed everyone, particularly people who scored against them last season. Signings like Suarez and Enrique were top notch, but I think Carroll will never live up to the price tag. Not while they continue with that style of football (ie. a decent one).

How can you rate the transfer window a 6,5 when our squad is arguably weaker than it was a year ago and we have made a huge profit on transfers in that period? Because I think we've replaced Enrique with quality, replaced Nolan & Barton with quality, signed a striker but could have done with another, and signed people like Obertan to beafen up the numbers. Look, people can call it depressive tosh and we tbf are going around in circles. But our club is owned and run by a hierarchy of spineless liars who prefer to see money resting in their bank accounts accruing interest than actually care about Newcastle. That is not debatable any longer. Look what QPR did, with their chairman speaking on radio about getting the right players in to support their manager.
