  1. Not really. He never picked himself as captain did he? His rapid and sudden decline started when the story about him wanting to go back home emerged. He wasn't himself prior to that, but he wasn't the complete train wreck he is now. Having said that, if he had been turning in these performances in a team that functioned with a purpose and direction, and Colo had been the weak link, I'd agree totally. No one out there, apart from Krul probably, has a clue what they are supposed to be doing. No one! EDIT: I totally agree regarding the captaincy issue that he should lead from the front, but it's clearly not his thing. Pardew should recognize this and take it off him and hand it to someone who understands the responsibility that comes with it! Oh right. None of the players 'pick' their responsibilities so we can just absolve them all. If you got given an important task at work that distinguished you from the rest of your colleagues, you're going to accept it even if you didn't ask for it. This new task comes with serious leadership, commitment and communication responsibilities. If you fail at satisfying the requirements of this specific task, sometimes simply because it's not in your character make-up, it's the job of your boss/manager/superior to realize it and take it off you, and give it to someone else. Coloccini is not a vocal leader and never has been. On the pitch he used to lead by example by turning in good (sometimes great) performances. He was given the captaincy because of his stature or name in the game being an Argentina international etc. I am not defending Coloccini, because yes he has been a shit captain for us. I'm just saying he was the wrong choice to begin with. Either way, it's pretty clear he wants out, and has been for a while. He's human. He's an arsehole for not buying up the rest of his contract and fucking off, but it is what it is. The fact that Pardew didn't strip him of the captaincy is down to the manager being a thick cunt.

  3. It's because our wide midfielders are too busy stepping inside to play free-roaming roles, and end up losing the ball 9 times out of 10, with absolutely no movement whatsoever in front of them, which makes the central midfielders charge backwards to try to catch the opposition's counter attack, and Colo takes it upon himself to come out to meet them and snuff the danger out early (in his mind). It's all one big f***ing mess. To single out Coloccini, or any other individual, when Pardew insists on playing the way we do is short-sighted and frankly getting tedious. Coloccini has been utter dogshit for the best part of a year now, but so has every single one of his teammates (bar maybe Anita and Sissoko).
  4. There is just ZERO explanation for how or why he headed that ball straight at Pelle for the second goal? Coloccini has been utter garbage don't get me wrong, but fuck me! You don't make that decision as a professional defender, to head the ball straight to the striker in that way unless you were paid to throw the game. He couldn't have been heading it to safety, and it couldn't have been a pass to Colo as he could fucking see Pelle in his view. Just baffling. We sent MYM away so that this clown can put in a performance like that in an NUFC shirt. Utter disgrace.
  5. He looked to be surprised that most of the his teammates had fucked off down the tunnel and was calling them over to the fans. It's a clear sign that the spineless manager and his spineless staff do not give the players instructions to applaud the support. Every single NUFC employee present at Southampton should have been in front of the away end applauding and apologizing to the fans who made the long trip down. This fucking off down the tunnel immediately bollocks is something I have only noticed in Pardew and his players. I could be wrong, but it's never been this prevalent in recent years. Massive respect to Janmaat. When all this Ashley/Pardew saga is over, and the dust has settled, he will get a lot of love from the fans no doubt.
  6. Pelle was the one with the assist No it wasn't. Number 16, blonde head, clearly lays the ball off to Schneiderlin.

Just catching up on all this! Oh the motherfucker is on!! Finally sounds like it's all coming to a head. Surely the status quo cannot remain for much longer.
  8. Why the fuck did Ward-Prowse not get the assist for the 4th soton goal??
  9. It's Tony Gale. Tony Gale is the commentator right? Who is the cunt beside him?
  10. The players are responsible for this one. Please man. Who the fuck is this??? Someone tell me who is co-commentator I beg you.
  11. 1 billion pounds on a football club Fuck the world.
  12. From the Chronicle article today: Pardew is likely to name both in his starting line-up against the Saints, whose boss Ronald Koeman says Newcastle are under pressure to win. He said: “Maybe there’s a little bit more pressure on them to win finally but I like to see more what my team has to do to win against them. “That is in my opinion more important.” Contrast these comments with Pardew's defeatist attitude every single fucking game.
  13. I've put him as captain I reckon it will be JWP or Tadic who will do us this time around.
  14. Would explain Dave's absence tbh. No but seriously, I think it's very well made? Maybe you're right, that it's not some professional journo, but that could be the decoy? Well what I meant is that I don't think it was made by a professional web developer - maybe a journalist or someone techy or someone who has a hobby in web development because it's clean-cut, but it's got some tell-tale minor usability flaws that made me doubt it. i.e. I don't think anyone has been paid to make this Aye fair enough. Some bits do seem sub-par visually, but the content is superb and that's all I care about tbh.
  15. Oh Alan Pardew GET OUT. JUST GET OUT Oh Alan Pardew GET OUT. JUST GET OUT. (to the tune of Shaggy's Oh Carolina)

  17. It's a great website. Too great almost. I still have the feeling that someone big is behind it otherwise they would have said who they are? By big I mean possibly a journalist or two? Chronicle? It's certainly a highly professional outfit with access to a massive bank of statistics (rules out the Chronicle ) Certainly a new way of doing things, and I hope they continue in this vein and not let us down.
  18. "Promote from within for the sake of stability?" Next manager will be Steve Stone lads.
  19. Was gonna ask if anyone thinks it's The Mag's own doing, but it's not an entity in itself is it? Isn't just a place for different indy writers to publish their stuff? As in The Mag itself doesn't have a defined agenda?
