  1. Considering he got subbed off with "fatigue" (Pellegrini's words, not mine) I'd be amazed if he played tomorrow. I want to put a City player in but can't afford Yaya and everybody else is at risk. Might go for Nasri and hope for the best

    Navas

  2. He either scores a 40 yard screamer or misses an open goal.

That's what you get from Fredy, but it's not as black and white as that.

Between the lines you'll find the poetry that defines the player and person, he's such a personality among the squad.

He's the type of player you can tear your heart out because he makes extremely annoying decisions, and then he gives you his heart and soul on the pitch and you gently place it back into your chest and smile just for the fact he is, Fredy Guarin.

Goes mental no matter who scores, himself or his team mate.

Gives 100% on the field and in his soul.

    Defines the word footballer.

Hate him or love him, he is, and will be what i miss amongst most footballers these days.

    He cares.

Will be a massive loss if he goes, hopefully the board will consider any incoming bid as nonsense.

    awesome

    Welcome back dj

  3. I thought they win just as many without him as they do with him, or very close, from last season mind.

There was a lot less pressure on them by that point tbh. Suarez has propelled them to another level. You watch most of his goals of late, and you can't pick out anyone in their squad capable of what he can. They're still a very good side nonetheless. Top 4 material certainly. But Suarez is just on another planet. If he can stay fit and keep up this form, then they are the real deal imo.

  4. I've got plenty wrong on this game over the years, but I said numerous times back in August about how Coleman was an absolute snip. He still is.

    moar 25 yarders pls.

He's been in my team since you recommended him in week 1, pointing out how involved he is in the final third.  O0

  5. Went to Burnley-Blackpool with the father in law yesterday.

Ings works hard and seems to have a knack for scoring at that level but lacks the pace, physicality and touch of class to be truly effective in the Prem.

Tom Ince was class if a little greedy. I'd be greedy too if I was twice as good as all my team mates. He still created 2 or 3 really good chances.

Kieron Trippier, the Burnley right back who came through Man City's ranks, was the other top class player on show. He's going to be a top player. He pretty much started every one of Burnleys attacks with really clever passing and his crossing was superb.

Dan Gosling was anonymous apart from one ghost into the box that forced a brilliant save.

We've been credited with heavy interest in Trippier in the past haven't we? Excellent every time I've seen him.

  6. From an attacking perspective he's exactly the type of RB you need if you're going to compress the play as we did today. Not a great defender but he's absolutely spot on as an forward-thinking RB. Such a massive improvement on what we had last season.

    :idiot2:

    Defensively he's average tbh.
