  1. He's an exciting attacking, flair player who doesn't track back. Great technique. The kind of player we fans will love but Pardew will end up benching.

Future title change - Remy Cabenchlla?

    Remy Subella ?

    Oh dear.

    Benchy Pardella ftw

  2. Don't forget Cisse himself. A player that contributes nothing.

Simply put: keeping on as many match winners as possible when chasing a game in the last 25 minutes is something 95% of managers do.  Especially when a team has so few.

Pardew took off a more defensive player for a striker and kept on his AM. He would be criticised for being too defensive if he had taken off an attacker for an attacker.

It may not have been the correct substitution but it was logical and made sense.

Agreed, BUT, Anita was having a very good game as well, and was as likely to pop up with an assist, a goal, or even just create an opening as anyone else on the pitch. It isn't an argument about whether Anita or Cabaye should have been taken off. Both of them could have been kept on the pitch, and with a slight re-jig of the formation, we could have kept the pressure on. The point is rendered moot in this case because of the injury to Nasri IMO.

  3. Some people are never happy.

Who can be happy with mid table mediocrity?

At times I think that I'll never be happy unless we've beaten every team we've faced into submission, won the league and cups playing the most beautiful football. Thats what supporters of every sporting club dream of afterall. But again at other times I think I'm just happy supporting this club for as long as it exists, no matter what division, no matter what the crisis at the time is. Football afterall is just something to do on a Saturday afternoon to take you away from the mundane bollocks of every day life.

    Perspective and priorities I suppose.

  4. f*** Red Bull and everything that cretinous company stands for. The most disgusting piece of s*** product ever produced. Wouldn't wish them on any club in England tbh. And that includes the mackems.

Red Bull are one of the cooliest companies around.

    Of course, if you're 12.

  5. Had a simply excellent game sunday, and should have stayed on. Really admire his resilience this season, in the face of what seems to be a lack of full backing by his manager.

I really hope that douche Van Gaal has been keeping tabs on him this season, and he gets rewarded with a seat on the plane to Brazil. He's been mixing it with the best of them in this league, and that is surely something the Dutch can only benefit from. Kluivert is one of the assistant coaches is he not? Have a word Paddy man.

  7. You don't sub your match winners, main creator and main set piece taker (indirect and direct) when chasing a goal man.

Our main attacking threat was given 10 mins to prove his worth.

This was the problem. If you'r gonna take Anita off, at least bring Ben Arfa on for him. Still IMO, the first sub should have been Gouffran off for HBA. Anita should have played the full 90.

  8.

I just don't give a single f*** about Samir Nasri.

Sorry i am saying that but we've been on the end of horrific challenges and injuries and seemingly had 0 justice in our behalf for seemingly more venomous tackles.

Shame he's hurt and his World Cup is over possibly over but again, seriously I just can't be f***ing arsed about a player who's not ours anymore.

Never knew you supported Arsenal  ???

The f*** are you talking about? I'm at the point in my football supporting life of not giving a single f*** about players who don't play for us. The "anymore" meaning I used to actually care, but now I just don't

Apologies if my grammar and punctuation were off, mind.

 sorry mate, was a joke obviously. Didn't mean to rile you up  :rose:
