Sometimes the support or the blind belief in Rafa is really horrible. How can you support the idea of keeping a player when everyone including him knows you don't want him to be here? And rely on him when we have injury crisis? Oh yea f***ing professional he must be. Not strengthening our rivals? When we badly need money for bringing in a striker or goalkeeper? No.10? Or you truely believe his value will rocket after six months of frozen out?

 

Come on man. Supporting Rafa as our manager doesn't mean we need to portrait everything he done is right.

That's a very short-sighted view. None of us know what has gone on and why Rafa won't give Mitro a chance. What we do know is that we finally have a manager with a spine and integrity, and who knows what he's doing. The man is so meticulous about everything he does so he must have a good reason to not want Mitrovic in the team. I'll support the manager blindly (even when he makes mistakes) because of the sum of everything he brings to the club and not for one or two isolated incidents.

Mate I dont need reminding.  I was around.  No disrespect but im guessing you were six. My Dad and brother are Liverpool fans. So its something I know and hear a lot about.

 

Back in them days, they had one of the best midfielders in the world who could play the game on his own, Gerrard. Rafa was extremely lucky to have that Liverpool side when Gerrard was around. But to be honest thats no disrespect to what Rafa did while he was there. He signed some howlers but equally he got some really good players through the doors.

Looks nothing special from the Dennis Wise scouting reports. Does have a knack for being in the right place at the right time which is good I suppose. Prefer Davie Selke from what i've seen but he's too young to pin our survival hopes on his shoulders.

Shelvey isn't a deep-lying CM in my opinion. He should be playing in a more advanced position but he lacks the athleticism and desire to be effective. He's blessed with a ton of talent he can't really use. If we can swindle WH out of anything north of 18M it would be a good deal. Great deal if we can replace with someone more effective to us in this side (even if less talented than Shelvey).

I think it’ll be Giroud. PeA going to Arsenal could well free him up.

Sell Mitro and Shelvey for 30M and spend it on a striker.

Then add 25 on top for a number 10 and a CM. Loan Kenedy and keeper.
