  1. Irrespective of whether people think Pardew is a good manager, or could become a good manager, the proof is in the football that we play, which is Stoke City style diabolical. Even after 2 plus seasons, I've no idea what style of football he wants to play, it's just a mess with players regularly out of position, tactically restricted, no movement and the worst passing team I think I've seen. Give me a Rodgers, Lambert, Laudrup, Martinez, Pochettino, or just about any young progressive manager out there. The idea of watching us play another season of hoofball football is extremely depressing.

  2. Laudrup, Benitez or Jol at a push.

First two are the stuff of dreams at the moment. Jol would get us organized but lacks that certain je ne sais quoi. Laudrup has it in abundance imo. Benitez is just on another stratosphere in terms of experience though, and would be a brilliant coup.

Take either one of the above two if they fancy a "project" up here. It's dreamland I know, but I'd like whichever manager comes next to lay down some proper foundations at the club that would echo on for years.

Appointing managers is a game of luck. If we get lucky and find the fabled "marriage" between club and manager we could do some serious damage to this league.

  3. Couldn't help but noticing yesterday when watching Swansea:

The way Leon Britton works in that team, he wins them so much time and space. Everytime Wigan put them under pressure, he used his technique and movement to get away from pressure and kept the ball moving. In stature and ability, he's very similar to Anita.

But on the other hand we need a tackle in there cause that gets you draws.

Very good observation. In Anita we have the only player in our squad who can do that specific midfield job with excellence, and he's hardly played. Pardew and our coaching staff still living in the dark ages on this evidence.

  4. We'd be safe now if the officials had spotted their handball injury time winner against us .....

After the shambles of the last few weeks, we probably didn't deserve this miracle tonight. However, considering the number of moronic refereeing decisions gone against us, it just about evens out now.

  5. That is some big fucking lifeline. Our fate is back in our hands now. Erase everything that has gone on this season and start new at QPR. TWO matches lads & Pardew. 180 odd minutes of football. Is it too much to ask?
