  1. Gutting defeat. Absolutely gutting. I'm sat here writhing in pain over the injuries, the incompetent (and probably corrupt) refereeing, the last minute goal, and most of all the abysmal standard of football we play. It really is a lot to take, and I haven't got a clue why it affects a fan so much. It's just football at the end of the day, is it not? Hard to say if we're definitely safe from relegation, but the fact that there are still some seriously shite teams around us (including Wigan who are extremely overrated on this board) might mean we are probably staying up. Surely we can't continue to play this amateurish style of rushed and incoherent football for much longer? Something has to give. Pardew either needs to bring in a serious coach or be replaced himself. No apologies for my ramblings. Emotions all over the place at the moment.
  2. How in the fuck was that blatant handball not spotted?? for fuck's sake!!!!
  3. Career ending tackle that was.
  4. Absolutely disgusting from Halsey today, and we're not even done with the first half.
  5. Benfica. Top club, top fans You going doooown bitches
  6. Yessssss. i'll take that. Come on NUFC. Love the smile on his face when he says Newcahssl Unided.
  7. I'll take Fener, with the second leg at home.
  8. Patrick Kluivert the ambassador of this year's edition. It's written in the stars!!! Come onnnnnnn!!!
  9. Come on Newcastle!!! Fuck me I'm so proud of our club, our players and our fans. Let's please please please please get our hands on this trophy :'(
  10. Also pleasing to know we got through without Krul, Coloccini, Cabaye-ish and Ben Arfa. With those four to come back into contention soon enough hopefully, who knows?
  11. Fucking boggles the mind. I've not seen him put in a single bad performance playing in the center. Superb.
  12. Jonas MOTM simply because I thought we were completely f***ed when Cabaye went off injured. El Galgo put in a stunning performance in the middle of midfield (the only position he can play) that kept us on the front foot for most of the game. Taylor had one of his best ever games in the shirt and put in the kind of performance that should have seen him called up to the England squad, and a starting place in the next two internationals tbh. He was THAT good. Mbiwa, Marveaux and Elliot complete the set of players who did very well overall imo. Cisse might have edged in there scoring the excellent winner. Sissoko, Haidara and Anita were not at their best, but still put in a shift. Tiote and Santon should take a long look at the video and themselves. Something needs sorting out in their heads. P.S. This "shooooooooot" business when Tiote has the ball has gone a step too far. Sod all the above though, what matters is we won!!! When exactly are we allowed to start believing we'll be in Amsterdam on May 15th?
  13. First ever (and only) game for me was our first home game since SBR had passed, the first home game of the championship season. Beat Reading 3-0, Ameobi hattrick. Sat in the lower Gallowgate. Best day of my life.
  14. 47 points: Marveaux, Sissoko and Cisse © Suarez goal and assist Enrique assist and Bunn clean sheet to round off a decent week.
  15. This guy Captain-like performance from him again today. He's been here 5 minutes and he's already telling Santon, Tiote and Taylor what to do all the time.
