Wrecked what should have been a massive legacy at NUFC. Not sad to see him go, which isn't how this should have ended.
Exactly this. Bye now.

Hull City is a fucking shit club. Come on SW ffs

So many u turns in here.
And rightly so IMO. People just want a club to support. If Rafa has been given the keys to the whole thing, then why not?

I'd be much more surprised if he left tbh. I don't know him obviously, but he seems exactly the sort of player who'd stay.
Yup. I know he's probably loaded with money and can afford it, but he's just made the move from London to the NE and I can't see him moving back down south so soon. His time with us has also been positive for him and the fans have reacted very well to his contribution. Plus Rafa's staying. If he's smart, he'll hang around, play an entire season and see if he can improve his game.

Batistuta's goal against Arsenal at Wembley in the Champions League
(it's on YouTube)
I don't think I've ever seen a Batistuta goal that wasn't either a completely unfair blastie or a class chip.
His volley away at Camp Nou

Pretty sure that priest is my primary school headmistress's husband. I don't have a problem with it.
A priest can't have a wife
Yes he can if he's married her first, got fed up, and then subsequently turned to Jesus for salvation.

What are the co-ordinates for? the stadium?
Why bother
In case someone didn't get the London bit. It's just rabble rousing sensationalist bollocks.

I know I'm biased but I genuinely think he's our most natural and promising option on the flanks at present. Offers something different whether it be getting to the byline and getting crosses in, or cutting in and driving at players. Seems to have a good work ethic and is in good form. Would definitely take him atm.
Offers more than the ponderous and ineffective Sterling IMO.

tbf if he can get properly fit Cisse could score a shitload in the Championship - Rafa preferred him to our other forward options in the relegation run in so must see something there.
It was obvious Cisse would never play for us again when he misplaced two passes early second half away at Villa and was immediately hooked by Rafa 5 minutes in.

I like them tbh, wonga aside. More effort has gone into making them simpler kits and i like that. The stripes on the home shirt could be better but at least they haven't f***ed with them this time.
-
No idea, definitely can't think of one in England.
Not that I'm comparing 'Arry to Benitez, but I don't even think he's ever managed in the Championship?
-
Has there ever been a case of a huge name manager taking on a job in a lower league anywhere else? For the life of me I can't come up with a single "big name" who has done this. I'm sure there MUST have been one or two? Maybe with Juve and/or Fiorentina? Parma? Not got a fucking clue.

This is the interpretive dance version of Rafa's time here so far.

That badass sash on the yellow one would give any presidente a mad case of jealousy.
Have to appreciate the fact they've put a Sash on the Ecuador shirt.
Well played sir! Well played.

Benitez + relegation
>
No relegation + Manager Lucky Dip
Obviously, but you do realise he would have stayed if we hadn't been relegated?
Definitely but maybe this way he'll have more room to upgrade the entire club away from the limelight of the PL, and with less pressure to get immediate results.

Say what now?

Why the hell would he go to Lyon, if he's supposedly got the other two to choose from?
He'll actually get playing time unlike at Barca. He started at Lyon so it'd make sense he might want to go back there
I realise that, but they've fallen quite a bit behind PSG because of the money. More of sideways move tbh.
Lyon is definitely a step up from Nice to be fair.
They are, but he'll still be playing for a team that can only really finish second or third in their own league because of the power PSG have. He's better off moving to none of the 3 mentioned tbh as IanPardewLover says.

Still can't figure out what Jordan Henderson does tbh. I've heard that he plays football for a living but I still haven't seen it.
As a non-English person who usually likes to see England do well in international tournaments, I hope England crash and burn with this ridiculous squad that they've settled on. Cowardly decisions as usual.
