  1. Also said he shook hands with Ashley at the end of the season on becoming the manager full time but then never heard anything back.

Which soured him to the idea. Probably for the best for everyone.

    Absolutely love Shearer, but this!

The Premier League has announced that the French national anthem 'La Marseillaise' will be played ahead of all matches this weekend

Incredibly thick and short-sighted decision for about a million reasons. Can't believe it's actually come to this. Actually, I can. This is ONLY being done for that extra publicity it brings the PL, and nowt else. Embarrassing.

  3. Feel free to cheer Ayoze

After ten-month without an away victory our fans made a 700-mile round trip to support us... Can't describe how lucky I feel with the fantastic fans we have. THANKS!!  #BlackandWhiteFamily

Después de diez meses sin ganar fuera de casa nuestra afición recorrió medio país para ir a apoyarnos... son increíbles y estamos muy agradecidos por su apoyo!

Btw a 1245 KO is a complete joke: utterly disgraceful

Agreed. Our traveling fans got a huge amount of credit in all commentaries I heard and deservedly so.

  4. What was the deal with the game, did they deserve the win?

Neither team really deserved to win. Liverpool were utterly s*** in defence, and wasteful in possession and attack. Palace weren't even a team. 11 men behind the ball, and then Bolasie and Zaha just trying to dribble past the 11 in the red shirts.

    f***ing pardew

It wasn't even hyperbole. How the fanboys in the media can't see it is beyond me

  5. Haidara's mistakes cost us goals. Dummett is safety first, which might increase pressure but doesn't directly lead to goals.

Don't see Haidara getting back in the team anyway. Think Dummett's relatively strong aerial ability compared to the rest of our team in defensive set-pieces is a massive reason he's in the team. Gets his head on the end of a lot of defensive corners.

Even if you fused them together to make a 'superplayer' he'd still be fairly s***.

If PD could run he'd be a very handy CB. But at LB I agree. Neither are good enough technically.

Fair summation. I suppose the best way is to rotate them depending on the match situation. Neither one is clearly a cut above the other. Mbabu has played better than both by some distance, but he's so young and inexperienced, we haven't seen how bad he could be when he's not on it.

  6. Haidara's awful man. A liability in possession, not just bad, a liability. We'll concede goals from his crap distribution. Can't defend. Can't attack. Rarely see him put in a decent cross. All he can do is run and get into promising positions before wasting them.

I wanted to like Haidara but he's a very long way to go before looking a decent player imo.

That first sentence describes Dummett to a tee. The only thing Haidara has over him is that he can run with the ball which relieves pressure. Dummett's distribution is even worse, and his mistakes tend to keep us under pressure as a result. Also for a relatively big man he's so fucking weak going out to meet wide players. Not keen on him at LB at all.
