Agree. What surprises me is the people here actually defending playing Obertan or Raylor before HBA, its just crazy. Like i wrote earlier today, if we had a very good traditional RM, sure, its harder to fit him in. But now, we don`t, Ben Arfa could be that man if he got the chance over a good amount of games. Now he gets played, does well some matches. Then dragged of at halftime or benched if the team (and him) are not doing well. How does that help him gain confidence While players like Ameobi, Obertan, Raylor are/was almost certain to be left on the pitch or gets many matches to fit into the team. I can not get my head around it, sorry.

It did eventually happen. Some people, like you settle for what you have, but you should always strive for perfection. And my point is that we have a really good squad, and we have a x-factor in HBA who in my opinion could push us even future. The fact that Obertan and Raylor get matches before HBA says a lot! I can`t really be angry this season, but the way Pardew goes about HBA kills me. Most technical gifted player we have, and he does not give him a chance. Yes, he was crap at Brighton and Blackburn, but Obertan get 15+ matches, week in week out. Depressing really. Just to think we have had a player like HBA in our squad, and not give him a fair long spell in the team really boils my piss! Get a grip Pardew!

4-2-3-1 is the best system for us IMO...... Simpson Williamson Colo Santon Tiote Cabaye Ben Arfa Ba Jonas Cisse Ba drops deep into midfield to help out the midfield two anyway so i dont see the problem with it, obviously changes to 4-4-2 when we are on the attack....... The percieved problem with Ben Arfa's lack of work rate is quite frankly a non issue with Ba dropping in midfield and Cabaye and Tiote protecting the defence. I understand why Pardew wouldnt want Ben Arfa with Perch and Guthrie in midfield and Best and Shola upfront but with Tiote, Cabaye and Ba i dont see an argument tbh. Also Cisse works very hard off the ball aswell. Agree 100%. This is my "dream" lineup to. But if it works i don't know, looks good though.
